Daljeet says that he has played with sincerity, he accepts his defeat and doesn’t want the cycle. He feels bad that the organizers are joking with him. The man says that Daljeet has come second and they have announced the new reward for the runner-up. He asks Daljeet to take the cycle with all his rights. He adds that the first prize is 50000 rs cash and the cycle is the second prize. He wants Daljeet and Akir to accept the cycle. Angad asks the man not to take his name. Daljeet realizes Angad’s gesture.
He spots Angad there. Angad and Daljeet become friends. Angad reminds Akir how the latter took his class. Akir asks him not to tell this to anyone. He scares Angad in his kiddish ways. Angad asks him not to get angry with him. They apologize to each other. Sahiba is shocked to see Angad bonding with Akir, and mentioning their old ties. She decides to keep Angad away from her family. She sees Angad and gets the flashes of the past incident when she was blamed for Inder’s death and the family made a heartless move to throw her out of the house.
She feels sorrowful that Angad has returned to her life. She doesn’t want Angad to meet Akir and know his roots. She tells Angad that it has broken her heart and trust. She finds Angad casting his shadow on her new world. She doesn’t want him to know the truth about Daljeet and her relationship. She wants to make a decision as Akir’s mother for his betterment. Angad recalls Sahiba and mentions a woman who is indifferent to loved ones but kind to strangers. Daljeet reminds him that tomorrow is Akir’s birthday and extends an invitation. Akir questions why “arrogant uncle” was invited. Angad reveals his initial plan to leave Panesar, but will now stay for the birthday celebration. He asks for Daljeet’s number, which Daljeet was also planning to request. Angad dials the number from Daljeet’s phone. As Daljeet greets Sahiba approaching them, he refers to her as Akir’s mother. The organizers call for Angad and he leaves momentarily. Daljeet realizes he forgot to ask for Angad’s name and saves it as “Sir Ji”. Sahiba then leads Angad to the doctor’s office before taking him home.
Daljeet excitedly shares how Angad changed the prize money and gifted a sports cycle to Akir. She reflects on how their opinions of Sirji were wrong, as he showed no discrimination between the rich and poor. Daljeet expresses her guilt upon learning the truth and Sirji’s sincere apology for his past actions. She attributes Akir’s new cycle to Sirji’s generosity. Sahiba, however, remembers Angad’s deceit and confidently states that Akir received the cycle due to Daljeet’s determination, not some stranger’s influence. She then makes a decisive move by presenting Akir’s birth certificate with Daljeet listed as the father.
Overcome with emotion, Daljeet thanks Sahiba for this precious gift and promises to make it official soon. Sahiba humbly credits Daljeet’s hard work for their son’s achievements. As she retreats to her room, Sahiba ponders why Angad is back in their lives and prays for her family’s protection from him.
