Jhanak 17th April 2024 Written Update Jhanak exposes Tejas. Anirudh and Jhanak exchange glances, followed by Choton’s tears. Shrishti takes credit for bringing Jhanak to the venue, while Bipasha emphasizes the importance of being confident after learning the truth. Tanuja sees Anirudh’s defeat as a positive outcome and Shrishti believes it will change Jhanak’s fate now that her marriage is taking place. They engage in conversation about their hopes for the wedding. Arshi interrupts Anirudh, who is busy taking pictures. She shares her concern that Avinash’s father passed away and worries that it may be seen as bad luck for Jhanak. Anirudh assures her that they have done their part and cannot control everything.
As Arshi leaves, Jhanak accidentally puts the varmala around Anirudh’s neck due to losing her balance. Anirudh and Jhanak share a long glance. This angers Arshi, but Anirudh defends Jhanak’s actions. He then gives her the garland, but Tejas insists on having a fresh one. Feeling agitated, Shrishti scolds Jhanak, but Anirudh reminds them that humans make mistakes. However, Arshi argues that such a big mistake is not acceptable. Anirudh clarifies that he only came to take pictures and it was not anyone’s fault. Realizing the time constraints, Shrishti urges them to move forward with the rituals as they have to leave at night.
Tanuja agrees and suggests using a new garland instead. Lal quickly fetches one while Jhanak puts it around Tejas’ neck and he reciprocates the gesture. The Pandit then asks the bride and groom to join hands and recite the mantras. To expedite things, Shrishti rushes them through the rituals. Meanwhile, Anjana cries knowing that Jhanak will soon leave their lives. Bablu consoles her by saying they can still keep in touch if fate allows it, to which she expresses her desire for Jhanak. Bablu says that Jhanak will forever remain a part of our lives as she showered Appu with an abundance of love that we will always hold dear. Anjana notes that Appu is feeling down.
Tejas and Jhanak then take their seats at the mandap, and upon catching a glimpse of his face, she is taken aback. As he reaches for the sindoor, she questions if he is truly Avinash or someone else. Without hesitation, she stops him from proceeding any further with the ritual. She doubts his identity and prevents him from putting on sindoor. She questions how she can trust that he is truly Avinash. Shrishti becomes anxious. Jhanak insists she wants to see his face before the wedding. Shrishti explains that according to his family’s tradition, he will only reveal his face after the ceremony.
However, Jhanak stands firm and declares she will not marry until she sees him. Bablu agrees with Jhanak’s stance. Tanuja mentions Avinash’s family follows a certain tradition. She then turns to Jhanak and suggests that she either agrees to marry Avinash or face a life of remaining unmarried. Dadi reprimands Jhanak while Bipasha and Mimi urge her to go through with the sindoor ritual, warning her of the consequences if she doesn’t. Jhanak finally caves in, stating she never promised to get married and is not bothered if the marriage doesn’t happen unless Avinash reveals his face.
Shubh urges Vinayak to witness the scene, but Shrishti intervenes, reminding them it’s pointless since they can’t see the groom’s face anyway. Jhanak stands up and declares she will not marry until Avinash shows his face, leaving everyone taken aback. Anirudh requests Avinash to reveal his face to Jhanak in a private setting. Jhanak lifts her veil, revealing her identity and surprising them. Shrishti then urges Tejas to apply sindoor on Jhanak’s forehead. Anirudh interrupts, exclaiming that by doing so, he will have to accept the sindoor applied on Jhanak earlier.
