Meanwhile, Jhanak arrives in the bustling city of Mumbai. Determined to follow her dreams, she heads straight to the venue of a prestigious dance contest. She takes a deep breath, offers a silent prayer for courage and success, and steps inside.
As she navigates the venue and fills out the application form for the contest, she accidentally collides with someone. Startled, she looks up and gasps, recognizing the person in front of her. “You…” she begins as a wave of surprise floods her senses. As Bipasha and Lal continue to taunt Jhanak, she denies any wrongdoing with Arshi. However, Shrishti dismisses her claims, stating that coming with the police indicates guilt, just like her mother. As Anirudh quietly observes, Shrishti asks for the video to be played. The lady inspector confirms that they have a clip that will serve as evidence. Grateful, Mrinalini thanks the officers. Feeling ignored by everyone, Jhanak watches as Choton takes the pendrive.
Amid the chaos, Shubh reminds Appu to remain calm while Bablu urges Jhanak to take a seat. Tanuja expresses her frustration at this situation and Bablu insists that she watch the proof without any hesitation. Despite Dadi’s reassurance and Anjana’s unwavering trust in her daughter, Jhanak is unable to hold back tears. Dadi tells her not to cry now but Anirudh shifts their attention back to playing the video while Mrinalini adds that they are running out of time. Dadi agrees and encourages them to play the video without any interruptions while Anirudh requests for everyone to remain silent till it ends.
The video clip surprises everyone as they witness Shrishti burning Jhanak’s saree. With all eyes on Shrishti, Bipasha points out how Jhanak threw the diya towards Arshi. Bablu suggests rewinding the video and Mrinalini suggests slowing it down. Jhanak’s innocence gets proved in front of everyone. Bipasha too gets speechless. Shrishti appears worried as Vinayak accuses her of being responsible for the incident. Mrinalini points to the evidence and Shrishti asks for an explanation. The officer acknowledges Mrinalini’s assistance in revealing the truth, preventing an innocent girl from being wrongly imprisoned. Choton, Dadu, and Bablu express their unwavering belief in Jhanak’s innocence while Anirudh admits his mistake and apologizes to Jhanak in his heart for doubting her.
Vinayak accuses Shrishti of committing a shameful act, to which she asks for clarification. He responds by asking if he needs to explain it himself, as he has witnessed everything. He questions her intentions and claims that she had planned to harm Jhanak by chaining her feet. In response, Shrishti explains that Diya accidentally slipped on Jhanak’s saree, causing the incident. She adds that Jhanak deliberately threw the video towards Arshi. The officer assures Anirudh that they will catch the culprit as promised. However, Shubh doubts the validity of the evidence presented.
The Inspector disagrees and states that it is enough to file a case against Shrishti, whom they took for questioning based on Jhanak’s statement and video proof. Fearing arrest, Shrishti mentions her daughter in the hospital and Anirudh blames her for Arshi’s condition. She angrily responds while Dadu accuses her of attempting to murder both Jhanak and Arshi by burning them. They have all witnessed her actions and demand an explanation for her crime, but Bablu tries to make her confess. Vinayak insists on holding Shrishti accountable for the crime. Jhanak stops Shrishti’s arrest and shows her greatness by forgiving Shrishti, who is a motherly figure to her.
Jhanak pleads with the inspector to end the issue there, as it is not the right time to take any action against Shrishti. She explains that her sister is currently in the hospital and cannot handle any more distress. However, the inspector insists on filing a complaint, accusing Shrishti of misleading them. Jhanak disagrees, stating that this is a family matter and their misunderstandings should be resolved between them. She acknowledges that Shrishti may have been wrong in her approach, but she loves her daughter Arshi deeply.
Jhanak believes that putting Shrishti behind bars would ruin everything she has worked hard for in life and cause immense pain to Arshi when she returns home from the hospital. She also fears losing her mother’s trust if Shrishti is arrested. Jhanak knows firsthand the pain of losing a mother and doesn’t want Arshi to experience it either. With Arshi’s surgery and marriage still pending, Jhanak pleads for Shrishti’s release so that she can be there for her daughter during these crucial times.
The officer confronts Shrishti about her actions, pointing out that Jhanak is now begging for her mercy. Despite being a talented artist, Shrishti’s character has been called into question and she is urged to reconsider her ways. The police then leave, leaving a heavy atmosphere in the Bose house. Feeling betrayed and hopeless, Jhanak begins to pack her belongings while contemplating her future. With thoughts of becoming like Urvashi or finding her own path, she realizes that the world is not kind to good people like herself. Remembering how Urvashi protected her, she vows to seek justice against those who wronged her and also confront her estranged father. However, she worries about where she will go and how she will survive without anyone by her side. Turning to Urvashi for guidance, she begs for help in finding a new path and taking care of herself along the way. Jhanak leaves Anirudh’s life and begins a new journey in Mumbai.
