She expresses exhaustion from constantly facing challenges. Anupama questions why she must bear the consequences when she has never harmed anyone. She also notes that even Anuj is keeping quiet about Meenu and Sagar’s affair. Anupama asserts that Meenu and Sagar were wrong to conceal their relationship and she would have taken a stand if they had been honest with her earlier.
She assigns the blame to Meenu and Sagar for their actions. Upon hearing this, Anuj asks if Anupama is upset because Meenu and Sagar are in love without her approval, leaving her speechless. Dolly arranges for Meenu to marry someone else. Leela cautions Meenu against entertaining thoughts of Sagar. Anuj informs Anupama that Meenu and Sagar represent the new generation and have the freedom to choose their significant other. He asserts that, despite their societal standing, Meenu and Sagar share a genuine love and should not abandon it. Taking Meenu and Sagar’s side, Anuj implores Anupama to comprehend their bond and offer them her backing.
Sagar is concerned about the possibility of Anupama cutting off contact with him, but Bala tries to comfort him. Paritosh and Pakhi fuel Sagar’s worries. Paritosh even suggests creating a matrimonial profile for Meenu, which only angers Sagar more. He insists that he is the only one who can truly love and respect Meenu. Despite this, Paritosh believes that Anupama will not approve of their relationship. Sagar declares that he will abide by whatever decision Anupama makes. Anupama says that Dolly’s decision to reject Sagar as a potential partner is not unjustified. Anuj believes Dolly should consider Meenu’s feelings.
Anuj argues that Meenu and Sagar have the right to choose each other. Additionally, Anupama stresses the importance of the family’s approval in this situation. Despite Dolly’s attempts to dissuade her, Meenu feels determined to pursue her love marriage. Leela also tries to persuade Meenu against it by stating the common belief that love marriages do not last.

Anupama implores Anuj to distract her thoughts. He declares his feelings and proposes marriage. Paritosh and Pakhi consider jewelry options. She admits that both of them have made mistakes in the past. He tells her that they don’t just give up on lighting a lamp if it gets blown off twice. He asks her to light the lamp again and spread light into the prevailing darkness. She seems convinced by his example. He enlightens her about the significance of marriage. Taking a stand for Meenu and Sagar, she defends them. Dolly inquires why Anupama chose an auto driver for Meenu.
