Jhanak 24th December 2024 Written Update Jalebi Track. The episode revolves around the emotionally charged wedding of Arshi and Anirudh, which is filled with underlying tensions and unresolved emotions, particularly for Jhanak, who feels betrayed by Anirudh. As Arshi and Anirudh sit at the mandap, Jhanak watches them silently, refusing to leave until the wedding concludes. Aditya tries to console her, but Jhanak remains firm. Meanwhile, other characters express their views on the marriage. Shrishti and Tanuja share their happiness about Arshi and Anirudh’s union, with Tanuja emphasizing that Arshi will always be her daughter-in-law. Shubh dismisses the notion of Anirudh being ill, labeling it as Jhanak’s drama, while Dadi expresses her hope to see Arshi and Anirudh’s baby before her death.
Appu and Anjana discuss Jhanak’s plight, with Appu expressing unease about Jhanak not marrying Anirudh and Anjana believing Jhanak wouldn’t have been happy in their home. Bablu supports Jhanak’s career potential and criticizes Anirudh for hiding the truth from her. When Mrinalini tries to sympathize with Jhanak, she brushes it off, accepting her betrayal as inevitable and choosing not to dwell on it further.
The wedding progresses with the varmala exchange and pheras. During this time, Aditya reveals to Jhanak that Anirudh faked his illness to manipulate her into agreeing to marry him. Anirudh tries to justify his actions by claiming he only lied to convince her for marriage and asks if she isn’t relieved to learn he is healthy. Jhanak, however, remains focused on the betrayal, questioning how he could stoop so low.
The situation escalates as Shubh and Dadi ask Jhanak to leave the mandap, while Arshi defends Anirudh and accuses Jhanak of trying to interfere in their relationship. Shrishti insists on throwing Jhanak out of the house. Aditya attempts to mediate, revealing there might be a deeper reason behind Anirudh’s actions, but Anirudh admits he lied about his illness purely to manipulate Jhanak. Anirudh asks Aditya to stay silent and not reveal anything. Bablu questions why Anirudh lied, prompting Anirudh to confess that he fabricated a fake report. Arshi comments that none of it matters anymore and accuses Jhanak of reacting as though she wants Anirudh to suffer. Jhanak retorts that Arshi cannot understand her pain. Anirudh, addressing Jhanak, says he must perform his post-marriage rituals and adds that he is accustomed to betrayal. He tells her to curse or punish him if she wishes, but Jhanak responds that divine justice, not her, will deal with him.
Aditya advises Jhanak not to misunderstand Anirudh, but Mrinalini pressures Aditya to disclose the truth. Aditya admits he cannot do so because of a promise he made to Anirudh, but he assures Jhanak that the truth will eventually come to light. Jhanak tells Aditya that she now understands Anirudh’s true nature and feels relieved that she was saved from him. Shrishti encourages Jhanak to leave, but Vinayak raises concerns about where she would go at this hour. Jhanak asserts that she is uninterested in staying and is happy to have gained her freedom. She declares she will never return to Anirudh, forgives him, and advises him to live happily with Arshi and their child. She warns Arshi to control Anirudh or risk him pursuing other women, leaving Arshi in shock.
Jhanak accuses Shrishti of prioritizing Arshi over her and declares that Shrishti now has only one daughter—Arshi. She vows to forget she is Shrishti’s daughter and promises to return to the Basus only in times of their need, as they supported her in her struggles. She bids farewell to Bablu, Anjana, and Lalon, expressing hope for their understanding. She asks Amitabh for his blessings, and he obliges, wishing her happiness. Appu offers Jhanak a place in her home, but Mrinalini insists on taking her instead. Together, they leave.
Anirudh, unable to let go, calls out to Jhanak. Arshi questions his actions, and Anirudh confesses that saying Jhanak’s name brings him peace. He insists on trying to stop her, but Jhanak remains resolute. Mrinalini informs Jhanak about Anirudh’s attempts to reach her, but Jhanak affirms that no one can deter her from moving forward. She leaves with Mrinalini, while Anirudh laments losing her due to his mistakes.
Bipasha expresses relief over Jhanak’s departure and the end of the drama, prompting Anirudh to taunt her. Aditya warns Anirudh that he will reveal the truth to Jhanak when he sees her again. Anirudh pleads with Aditya to honor his promise, while Arshi demands to know the truth. Aditya dismisses her request and departs. Shubhankar urges everyone to eat and move on.
Later, Mrinalini questions Jhanak’s plans. Jhanak insists she cannot stay, as she cannot endure more betrayal or pain. She resolves to focus on her career, expressing her desire to leave the city, which suffocates her. She shares her intention to leave after packing her belongings.
Meanwhile, Bipasha urges Arshi and Anirudh to let go of the past and smile. Appu interrupts, accusing Anirudh of apathy and threatening Bipasha when she intervenes. Appu, furious, declares she will never return to the house and leaves with Lalon. Bipasha advises Arshi and Anirudh to rest.
As Jhanak packs, Mrinalini asks if she plans to move to Mumbai. Jhanak confirms, but when Mrinalini mentions Aditya, Jhanak insists she will not meet him, feeling betrayed by him as well. Arshi later tells Anirudh that she has forgiven him for the sake of their baby, despite knowing he is in pain over Jhanak’s departure. She offers him the option of divorce, but Anirudh refuses, stating that their unborn child is innocent and deserves better.
