Appu and Anjana discuss Jhanak’s plight, with Appu expressing unease about Jhanak not marrying Anirudh and Anjana believing Jhanak wouldn’t have been happy in their home. Anirudh asks Aditya to stay silent and not reveal anything. Bablu questions why Anirudh lied, prompting Anirudh to confess that he fabricated a fake report. Arshi comments that none of it matters anymore and accuses Jhanak of reacting as though she wants Anirudh to suffer. Jhanak retorts that Arshi cannot understand her pain. Anirudh, addressing Jhanak, says he must perform his post-marriage rituals and adds that he is accustomed to betrayal. He tells her to curse or punish him if she wishes, but Jhanak responds that divine justice, not her, will deal with him.
Aditya advises Jhanak not to misunderstand Anirudh, but Mrinalini pressures Aditya to disclose the truth. Aditya admits he cannot do so because of a promise he made to Anirudh, but he assures Jhanak that the truth will eventually come to light. Jhanak tells Aditya that she now understands Anirudh’s true nature and feels relieved that she was saved from him. Shrishti encourages Jhanak to leave, but Vinayak raises concerns about where she would go at this hour. Jhanak asserts that she is uninterested in staying and is happy to have gained her freedom.
