The story is about a young girl Niyati [which means destiny in english], a stuntman’s daughter. She is courageous and passionate about stunts and gets inspiration from her father. Things were going fine until one day Niyati’s father meets with an accident on set while he was doing the stunt and passes away. Niyati’s family is supported by her brother after her father’s death. She vows to follow her father’s footsteps and want to work like a stunt woman but her brother doesn’t give approval and support. She got support only from her mother. Nevertheless, she goes out to try her luck in convincing the stunt team on the set. It turns out that there is another stunt man got hired in front of her father’s place. The members de-motivates her by saying its a man work and she is not suitable. The new stunt man confronts her angrily and makes a taunt by asking whether she wants to take his place. Moreover, he instigates the team to not let her come there.

Niyati is dejected to see the men’s reaction and their taunts. She gets support from her mother and informs that she will do lots of hardwork to pursue her dream and will definitely become a stunt woman. Niyati is confident to make her name and vows to prove it right. She goes on to practice stunts and does hardwork and manages to show her mettle to the action/stunts team who gets surprised and are in awe of her courage, spirit and also fine stunt delivery. Niyati have said Halla Bol and fought for her dreams with heart and mind.  The men who believed that she couldn’t do any stunts take back their words. Niyati’s victory is not only for her but also for her father who is her inspiration. Some of the questions are – Who will help Niyati in preparing for the stunts ? * Niyati is portrayed by actress Yaushika Verma
– Worked in a recent Bollywood movie – Yeh Hai Bakrapur whose plot is based on a social satire against the backdrop of rural India. Yeh Hai Bakrapur’s Wikipedia page. The movie was released on 9th May 2014 and got good reviews.
– She also worked in movie Yahan Sabki Lagi Hai (Everyone gets screwed here). The movie is yet to release and portrayed the role of Anamika.
– Recently worked in Bindass’ Yeh Hai Aashiqui Episode 63 aired on 31st August 2014 and played the role of Ishika. If interested, read that episode WU here.
