In Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the members of Gokuldhaam society celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. They celebrate heartily by singing Bhajans and patriotic songs. They all give special and sensible messages regarding Gandh ji. The society gets together. Champak Chacha ji shows the Charkha and explains everyone about its importance. Champak tells them that Charkha is a symbol of independence, hardwork, self-esteem and sincerity, it has given employment to many people who started their small businesses. He tells them that people of any age can use the Charkha. Iyer asks everyone to understand the concept of Gandhi ji’s ideals and become independent. Everyone gives their views on Gandhi ji’s ideals.
They also give suggestions what they should do to bring a change in the country. They spread the message of Clean country and eradicating the corruption by changing their mindsets.

They make an appeal to serve people and follow the path of Gandhi ji. Bhide tells them what Gandhi ji taught them, a true teacher is someone who brings a big change by giving a bright future, by making them a good citizen holding high principles like honesty, unity, tolerance among many. The members of the society give a social message to the viewers and persuades them to walk on the right path of truth. They are sure that Gandhi’s principles can change the entire world.
