61st National Film Awards 2013 – List of Winners announced on 16th April 2014

The full list of the winners that are announced today in New Delhi are written below. The awards ceremony will be held on 3rd May 2014 and presented by Directorate of Film Festivals.

Best Choreography Award – Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Best Film on social issues – Gulaab Gang (Hindi, Bundelkhand)
Best Sound Design – Madras Cafe
Best Hindi Film – Jolly LLB
Best Popular Film – Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
Best English Film – Coffin Maker
Best Non-Feature Film – Rangbhoomi (Hindi)
Best Director – Hansal Mehta for his film Shahid
Best Actor – Rajkummar Rao (Shahid, Hindi)
Best Actor – Suraj Venjaramoodu (Perariyathavar, Malayalam)
Best Actress – Geetanjali Thapa (Liar’s Dice, Hindi)
Best Children’s Film – Kaphal (Hindi)
Special Jury Award: Films – Yellow (Marathi) and Miss Lovely (Hindi)
National Award for Special Effects – Jal
Best feature film – Ship of Theseus directed by Anand Gandhi
Best Supporting Actor – Saurabh Shulka (Jolly LLB)
Best Debut Film of a Director – Fandry (Marathi)
Nargis Dutt Award for Best Feature Film on National Integration – Thalaimuraigal (Tamil)
Best Environmental Film including Agriculture: Foresting Life (Hindi,Assamese)
Best Film on Environment Conservation – Perariyatathavar (Malayalam)
Best Film on Social Issues – Tuhya Dharma Koncha (Marathi)
Best Book on Cinema – Cinema Ga Cinema (Telugu) by Nandagopal
Best Short Fiction (Non Feature)- Mandrake! Mandrake! (Hindi)
Best Direction (Non Feature) – Chidiya Udh
