Dev has missed to see Durga when she passed by him on the road. Dev buys Nitya’s home and cleans her blackened photos. He imagines Nitya telling him that he has cheated her by not keeping his promise. He had promised her that he will always protect her from all bad times. He was away from Kolkata when Nitya and Payal faced such trouble by the Goenka family.
