There is lots of tension in Agnihotri house. Astha, the caring bahu of the family is asked by Niranjan to stay as a bahu and not try to get as a daughter. He promises her that he will send Jyoti with Abhay by any means and for this, even Shlok will not stop him. He tells her how he has convinced Shlok to agree to him. Niranjan acts sweet and pitiful infront of Shlok and says his soft heart melted seeing Abhay trying to cut his hand, even Lord given second chance, so why can’t I. Shlok agrees to his great saint father. Astha challenges Niranjan that she will not let Jyoti go with Abhay. Shlok thinks he will test Abhay’s behavior for some time and then if he is convinced by him, that he has really changed and good towards Jyoti, then he can make him take Jyoti forever.
Niranjan asks Shlok to take Astha office as he does not want her to be at home to support Jyoti, when Abhay comes to take her. Shlok takes Astha with him to office and she is tensed thinking about Anjali, who is alone at home, and how will she stop Niranjan if he sends Jyoti with Abhay. Astha understands Shlok’s motive and argues with him. Shlok tells her that Abhay can change and what’s the harm in giving him one chance. Astha says a man like him can never change and he is greedy for money. She tells him that she will expose Abhay. Meanwhile, at the Agnihotri house, Abhay comes to take Jyoti and his daughter Anaya with him. Niranjan uses Anjali agaian and asks her to be rude and bitter towards Jyoti, so that her heart breaks and she leaves this house. Niranjan tries to make Jyoti leave the house. Astha tells Shlok that she has to go home and stop Jyoti from going with Abhay. Jyoti cries and refuses to go back to Abhay’s hell, going against Niranjan’s decision which makes him fume with anger.
