Chandrikala has postponed Yuvraaj and Suhani’s reception as she felt Suhani’s bad and ugly looks will bring disgrace to her family, her dark color and plain features makes her look like a maid and everyone knowing the Birlas values only beauty would laugh on their wrong selection for Yuvraaj’s wife. Chandrikala gives a fairness cream to Suhani asking her to apply it daily thrice so that her skin tone can get fair, but Suhani does not use it as she wants to be natural and does not cheat anyone by their artificial beauty.
Chandrikala comes to know that Suhani did not use the cream till the reception day comes and fums on her. Suhani tells her that these creams are the ways to cheat people and she won’t use it. She gets scolded and Yuvraaj witnesses this. Yuvraaj asks Suhani to care about other’s feelings, but Suhani is adamant. Suhani is asked to get a makeover, and best makeup artists are called by Chandrikala to give a fair look to Suhani, so that the guests like her in the reception. Suhani sees herself in the mirror after having the changed look, and does not like it. She thinks to remove all the makeup and go in the party with her true image, as she does not want to give anyone a wrong impression about her. Chandrika welcomes Suhani’s family in the reception party and asks them to be ready for a miracle as she has given a good look to Suhani today.
Suhani sees some people in problem and goes to help them, not caring about her heavy and expensive clothes, and her makeup. It rains and a couple’s scooter is stuck in the mud. Suhani helps them going out in rain and ruins the clothes sitting in the mud and using her hands to pull the mud and bring the scooter out. Her clothes and makeup gets spoiled and she gets drenched in the mud. The couple blesses Suhani for her good deeds and she comes home walking in muddy clothes and mud all over her face, hands and body. Everyone is shocked to see her in this avatar.
Chandrikala fumes as everyone laughs on Suhani and insults Birlas for having such a dark and ugly bahu. Chandrikala gets angry on Suhani and her family and taunts them badly. Will Yuvraaj take a stand for Suhani? Yes, surely it will be only Yuvraaj who supports Suhani shocking everyone, and he will win Pankaj and Suhani’s trust.
