Diya has become Bahurani. Kakimaa has given her much responsibilities. She explains the kitchen tasks to Diya. Diya understands the new responsibilities coming on her shoulder. Kakimaa asks her to start with little tasks, like cutting vegetables and frying papads, then she can do learn new things like cooking food. Ratan dons a woman’s disguise. Ratan comes there. He wants to meet Diya and apologize to her. The dupatta gets stuck in the door. He struggles to hide his face and run to Diya. Kakimaa doubts on Ratan and Diya’s relation. She recalls the lady’s warnings.
She wonders about Ratan and Diya’s fight. She says its Yash’s engagement, what if Diya breaks the relation after Yash’s engagement, maybe Diya and Ratan lied to us. She worries that Diya can leave from the house. She says I have accepted Diya as my bahu, I was going to praise her and reward us, but Diya gave us this gift, how can Diya spoil her relation.

She wants Diya to reconcile with Ratan. She knows Diya does all her duties well. She prays for Ratan and Diya’s relation. She wishes her thinking is wrong. She goes to question Diya. Diya doubts that Kakimaa is understanding her lie. Diya tells Ratan that Kakimaa held her hand and saw the fake rashes. Ratan tells Diya that Kakimaa is not angry, she is normal, he has just met her. He asks Diya not to worry. Diya tells him that Kakimaa felt bad of their lie. Ratan asks her not to think much.
