Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai to add up surprising elements… Goenkas ask Suwarna to stop the marriage and not take any decision in emotional state. Kartik decides in a haste and tells them that the marriage won’t stop. He wants Naira to come in the marriage at any cost. He wants to test Naira’s love. He knows Naira can just give him a lecture on moving on, but she can’t move on without him. Kartik and Naira miss each other, and realize that their big day has finally arrived. She wants to head to Singapore, after attending his marriage. Naira feels sorry for herself that she is forgetting things. The family tries to be normal with her. Naira tells them that she wants to attend Kartik’s marriage. They ask her not to take any stress and think for herself. They don’t want her to think about Kartik again. Naitik tells Naira that he is just concerned for her, he doesn’t want to think about Kartik.

He asks Naira not to decide anything in haste. Naitik tells her that they will just go to the airport. Kartik tells Suwarna that Naira will come for sure. He wants Naira to come. He tells them that he will get Naira if she doesn’t come on her own. Naira and her family attend the marriage. Naira acts cool again, as if she doesn’t care for Kartik’s marriage. Kartik makes her recollect their love vows. She gets compelled to watch his marriage. She tells him that she has got a gift for Ashi. Kartik gets angry with Naira’s cold behavior again. He proceeds for the marriage rituals, just to show Naira. Suwarna makes Kartik wear the sehra. Naira gets hurt watching everything.
Kartik swaps himself with Rohan in the mandap, while Suwarna tries to make Naira realize her mistake and change her decision. Naira gets sad that she is losing Kartik forever. She recollects her marriage memories and breaks down. She fights with her emotional dilemma. She doesn’t want to ruin Kartik’s life and happiness. She also realizes that she is hurting Kartik’s heart by deciding for his life. She doesn’t want to compel Kartik for marriage. Before she could rush and realize her mistake, she finds the marriage completed. She gets upset and faints down by the shock. She is rushed to the hospital. On getting conscious, she asks about Kartik and Ashi’s marriage. Kartik brings a surprise for her, and breaks the news that he is just of her forever.
