Yeh Rishte Hai Pyaar Ke Mishti and Kuhu are in a village and enjoy the time at a dhaba while covering their journey to reach the Utsav. They end up outdoing each other. Kuhu always competes with Mishti. Mishti tells Kuhu that she will never run away from the problems. She wants to come first in the race of life. They prepare for the Utsav. They have to perform in the event. A rich household shakes up when they learn the shocking news of Ketki’s elopement. They fear the reaction of Meenakshi, Ketki’s Bua. Meenakshi asks her son Kunal to look for Ketki. She doesn’t trust anyone else. She doesn’t want Ketki to run away from the marriage. She doesn’t want her to bring any stain on the family reputation.
Kunal promises to find Ketki. He tells Meenakshi that he knows Abir’s location as well. He wants to get Abir home. Meenakshi is sure that Abir will never understand her prestige and not help them. She asks him to keep Abir out of Ketki’s matter. Kunal leaves for the same event, where Abir is present. Mishti takes the bus to reach the event venue on time. Meenakshi handles the groom’s family. She wants Ketki to come back. Mishti gets to meet Abir for the first time. They have a moment which brings them closer.

Mishti shares her sorrow with him. They both were abandoned by their fathers. They have a common sorrow. Abir stays cheerful in all times. Mishti gets to see the happy go lucky guy Abir. Kuhu likes the charming guy Kunal. Kunal and Abir meet after a long time. The brothers unite. Kuhu wishes to meet Abir. Kunal tells Abir about Ketki’s eloping from the house. He doesn’t want Abir to blame their mum for this. Ketki asks Kuhu to help her and not let her brothers reach her. Kuhu gets excited knowing her love story. Mishti makes Ketki realize her mistake, since she has put everyone in trouble.
Ketki feels just Abir can understand her and stop the marriage. She wishes Abir was at home when she was forced to accept this alliance. Mishti and Kuhu have different opinions on Ketki’s matter. Ketki wants to know if Mishti would marry someone without knowing well. Mishti gets into a dilemma. Mishti wonders what would her family go through if she runs away from marriage. She doesn’t want Ketki to hurt her family. Mishti makes Ketki talk to her mum. Meenakshi doesn’t want to wait more. Mishti asks Ketki to go back home and talk to her parents than running away. Mishti advises her to call off the alliance.
