Kundali Bhagya 23rd August 2021 Written Update Sonakshi’s truth Karan is devastated when the family gets the hospital records and the actual reports to testify the real father of Sonakshi’s child. Shrikant and Rajat disclose the truth that Karan Luthra has fathered Sonakshi’s daughter. Karan and Preeta are in shock over the truth, while Rakhi, Kareena and Kritika can’t digest that Karan could hide his relationship from the family. They can’t let Karan and Preeta’s marriage fall apart.
Karan and Preeta know that Rajat is lying, the truth can’t be so bitter to break their marriage. Preeta still shows her faith on Karan. Karan also believes that there is something hidden in the whole story, if Sonakshi is hiding her lover’s name deliberately. He gets Sonakshi in front of the entire family. He asks her to end everyone’s doubt by telling the truth. Sonakshi doesn’t utter a word. Karan asks her to break her silence and just answer them about the child’s father.
He tells that he is sounding cheap to ask her about the child’s father, but he is left with no option, since the family has doubts on their minds after Rajat’s dirty allegations on Karan and Sonakshi’s friendship. He tells that Rajat not only pointed on her character, but also on their friendship. He wants Sonakshi to answer them. He tells that he also wants to know the truth. He asks them to tell them that they never had any relationship. He tells that no one has a right to accuse them.

Sonakshi gets broken down before revealing that Karan is the father of her child. This truth shakes Karan completely, while Preeta is also in the same shock. Karan denies the truth. He tells them that he had no relationship with Sonakshi. Sonakshi asks Karan not to deny about their relationship. Why is Karan targeted by his friend? Sameer tells Shrishti and Janki that he is certain that Karan isn’t the father of Sonakshi’s child. He asks Shrishti her opinion. She tells that she isn’t so great to smartly think, she was wrong that Shrikant was hiding Rajat’s secret, but Sonakshi was hiding her baby’s secret. She doesn’t have any answer. Janki is scared that the answer may bring a storm in Preeta’s life. Rajat returns the the resort with the family members. Karan asks Mahesh who is the child’s father.
Rajat shouts that Karan is the culprit. Karan doesn’t believe him. They both argue. Rakhi asks Mahesh to deny Rajat. Prithvi tells Rakhi that Karan is really the father of Sonakshi’s child. This brings a wave of sorrow in the family. Karan calls it nonsense. He tells that he doesn’t have any daughter, Sonakshi was just his friend. He reprimands Rajat for being a creep. Rajat tells that he would have not come to marry Sonakshi, who is still in love with Karan.

Karan tells that he used to care for Sonakshi just because she is his friend. He tells that he has got enough proof against Karan. He wants Karan to admit his truth. He accuses Karan for spoiling his future. Karan asks Rajat why is he crying now. He tells that he is in trouble this time. He asks Preeta to trust him, he never had any relationship with Sonakshi. He asks Sonakshi to tell them that they had no such relation that they could have a child together.
The Luthras want Sonakshi not to lie, and just defend Karan. Sonakshi admits that she had lied before, she would have not told the truth before, but when he is asking, she has to tell the truth that Karan is really the child’s father. She tells Karan that she didn’t wish to disturb his married life, she didn’t wish to ruin his marriage with Preeta, she had to keep quiet and hide the truth from him. She tells that there are many lives connected with him, she didn’t speak up till now just to save his name.
She tells that even her dad didn’t know about Karan and her relationship. Karan and Preeta can’t believe the truth spoken by Sonakshi. Karan asks Sonakshi not to lie. She tells that he didn’t know about it, its just her mistake. She apologizes to Preeta. Karan tells that nothing happened between them. Sonakshi reminds him a party night, when they had too many drinks, Karan had accompanied her home to drop her, he dropped her to her room and they got too intimate. Karan calls it a big lie. She reminds him where he woke up in the morning, in her bedroom.

She tells him that she called the night a mistake and tried to move on in her life, she never mentioned about it before, she got to know later that she is pregnant, she tried to meet Karan and inform him as well, but he was with one of his girlfriend at that time. Sonakshi couldn’t meet him because of that girl, who lied about her pregnancy and marriage with Karan. She adds that she got to know about Karan’s marriage, she decided to give birth to the child, without thinking of the society, who would raise a question on her character.
Sonakshi tells that she went to her aunt’s house for her delivery, she was taken to the hospital to deliver her child, she learnt that her child couldn’t survive, she had faced the pain of losing her child, after bearing the child in her womb for nine months. She tells Karan that their daughter isn’t alive, she was sent to London by her dad who wanted her to move on, but she couldn’t forget the pain of losing her child. She tells them that she didn’t wish the past to come into her present. Karan and Preeta are left in shock.
