Yeh Rishta 17th January 2022 Written Update Abhi confronts Akshara At Goenka house, the whole family is seen dancing in Aarohi’s Haldi. Akshara comes and wishes that Aarohi wouldn’t have lied to achieve her dreams. Suhasini and Swarna ask Akshara to apply Haldi to Aarohi. Akshara looks at Aarohi in anger. Aarohi sees Akshara with worriness but no regret. On the other hand, Abhimanyu cries looking at Akshara’s bracelet in his hand. Harshvardhan comes and asks Abhimanyu to go home saying that it’s his marriage today. Abhimanyu asks Harshvardhan if Manjiri returned. Harshvardhan asks Abhimanyu why he always searches for his mother like a kid. He asks Abhimanyu to listen to his father too sometimes.

Abhimanyu says he will come when Manjiri will come back. Harshvardhan leaves from there thinking not to make Abhimanyu angry. Aarohi’s lie proof photograph gets stuck with Akshara’s bracelet. Before Abhimanyu could see the photograph, an emergency case arrives and Abhimanyu leaves for it. Akshara tells Aarohi that she doesn’t deserve Abhimanyu. She also tells Aarohi that she doesn’t feel like applying haldi to her. Aarohi asks Akshara to not apply haldi to her then. Akshara applies Haldi to Aarohi in a taunting way. Aarohi gets confused, angry and worried with Akshara’s behavior. Kairav also gets confused seeing the tension between Akshara and Aarohi.

Aarohi leaves to dance with Goenkas. Akshara feels tensed recalling Aarohi’s words and lies. At Birla hospital, Abhimanyu feels angry with Band Baja arrangements in the hospital. He controls his anger and dances with his staff and patients. Neil records it and sends it to Akshara. Akshara feels bad seeing Abhimanyu pretending to be happy. Goenkas take Aarohi for a small ritual. Kairav stops and asks Akshara, if she is fine. Akshara says she is fine. Kairav asks Akshara why doesn’t look happy. He also asks Akshara why she and Aarohi both look mentally absent from marriage. Akshara keeps everything to herself.

Abhimanyu returns home and Nishtha asks him who goes to work on the day of their marriage. She refuses to become a doctor saying that doctors don’t get leave for one day, not even marriage day. Aandi interrupts Nishtha, when Abhimanyu asks her about Manjiri’s whereabouts. Abhimanyu says he will get ready when Manjiri comes back. He says he doesn’t want unnecessary rituals, seeing Harshvardhan. Aarohi’s lie proof photograph can be seen in a file in Abhimanyu’s bag. At Goenka house, Suhasini asks Aarohi to make swastik on pooja thali and other rituals. Aarohi thinks about how she should leave for her exam. She thinks she could revise in flight once she gets free from her family marriage rituals.

Suhasini asks Aarohi why she seems in a hurry. Aarohi tells Suhasini that she is in a hurry to leave for the parlor as bridal make up may take 5-6 hours. Swarna tells Aarohi that they have already booked a makeup artist for her. She says the makeup artist must be arriving soon. Aarohi lies to her family saying that she feels comfortable getting ready in the parlor only. Suhasini asks Aarohi why she needs to go to the parlor as she is already very beautiful. She tells Aarohi that even Akshara can help her in bridal make up. Aarohi requests Suhasini to let her go to the parlor. Akhilesh convinces everyone to let Aarohi go to the parlor. Everyone refuses to let Aarohi take Akshara with her when the former says she will.

Aarohi forcefully takes Akshara with herself. Kairav feels that something wrong is going on. On the other hand, Abhimanyu tries to calm his anger and pain but recalls Neil’s words. He breaks down and wishes for Manjiri to return soon. Akshara asks Aarohi if she is flying to another city for the exam. She says she thought that her (Aarohi’s) exam would be in their city only. Aarohi says they will return till evening. She says that she can’t miss her exam at any cost. Akshara asks Aarohi to leave her craziness. She tells Aarohi that she would lose something this way. Akshara asks Aarohi to think everyone including Abhimanyu would feel bad and ditched if her truth gets revealed. She reminds Aarohi that Abhimanyu can’t tolerate lies.

Aarohi tells Akshara that she is panicking unnecessarily. She says she will manage everything. Aarohi also says that she will give the exam and even be there for the wedding. She tells Akshara that Abhimanyu is her to-be husband and will manage him. Akshara tells Aarohi that consequences would be very bad if anything goes wrong. She again asks Aarohi to imagine what family and Abhimanyu might go through. Akhilesh and Manish see the family album and feel emotional thinking that Aarohi will leave them for her new life after marriage. They think they would feel very lonely, as soon Akshara would get married too. They think about how they would live alone.

Swarna and Suhasini think Manish and Akhilesh are very emotional but don’t show that to everyone. On the other hand, Aarohi asks Akshara to stay silent and handle everything till she returns. Akshara asks Aarohi to not do this. Aarohi tells Akshara that she doesn’t have any other option. She also tells Akshara that she will have to help her by handling everything in her absence. Akshara tries to stop Aarohi from taking the wrong way. Aarohi says she will wear the nuptial chain (mangalsutra) after wearing her graduation cap. Akshara asks Aarohi how she can lie to Abhimanyu, if she loves him. Aarohi tells Akshara that we have to lie sometimes to get the best. She tells Akshara that alliance with Birlas is best for her.

Aarohi further tells Akshara that she will love Abhimanyu some day. She asks Akshara to not make big issues out of her petty lies and leaves. Akshara thinks she also hid the truth about her love from Abhimanyu. She tries to stop Aarohi and asks her to not leave by putting her in trouble. Akshara shouts and tells Aarohi that she can’t do this to family and Abhimanyu. She asks Aarohi to leave by telling the truth to everyone. Aarohi ignores Akshara’s pleas and gets her security check up. Shefali sees Aarohi entering the airport. Akshara hears voices asking her to tell the truth as it’s difficult to find true love in this selfish world. Voices explains to Akshara that love is fragile and asks her to save her love.

Voices ask Akshara to listen to her heart instead of thinking so much. They ask her to fight for her love. Voices continue telling Akshara that her love is in her destiny. They continually encourage and ask Akshara to tell the truth. Akshara recalls Aarohi’s words, when the latter told Akshara to manage everything otherwise she would be responsible for her marriage cancellation. She also imagines Abhimanyu requesting her to tell the truth. Imaginary Abhimanyu explains to Akshara to tell everyone that she loves him as everything is fair in love. Akshara tells imaginary Abhimanyu that she doesn’t want to lose Aarohi. Imaginary Abhimanyu reminds Akshara that she loves him too. He continuously asks Akshara to tell everyone that they love each other as even Aarohi doesn’t love him.

Imaginary Abhimanyu continuously requests Akshara to tell the truth as still there is some time left. Akshara keeps hearing voices and sees Abhimanyu going away from her. In the next episode, Abhimanyu will secretly enter Akshara’s room and break her mirror. He will continuously ask her why she is crying. Akshara will cry and ask Abhimanyu to stop. Abhimanyu will ask Akshara to come to the sunset point till 4PM and answer his questions. He will warn her to imagine what he will do if she doesn’t come.
