Kumkum Bhagya 27th January 2022 Written Update Special Pranbir Prachi wins the musical chairs competition. She gets a chance to hug Ranbir, because its the reward as wanted by Rhea for the winner. Ranbir tells Prachi that he will hug her, not because that he loves her and wants to hug her, but for the reason that she won the prize and deserve the hug. He hugs Prachi with love. Ranbir and Prachi look inseparable. Dida and Shahana are very happy seeing them. They enjoy the tension and anger on Rhea’s face. Rhea rebukes Prachi for hugging Ranbir, knowing he is her/Rhea’s husband. She asks Prachi to have some shame. Prachi tells that she has no interest in hugging Ranbir, it was just a part of the game. She asks Rhea to learn to deal with her insecurities.
Rhea claims that Ranbir will be just of her. Prachi and Rhea have a challenge to get Ranbir. Prachi steps on the burning wood dropped by Rhea. Prachi gets her foot burnt by the wood. Ranbir gets caring for Prachi. He sees her burn wound and worries. He lifts Prachi in his arms and takes her. The Lohri celebrations turn pale for Rhea after Ranbir and Prachi leave. Ranbir becomes Prachi’s shield to protect her from Rhea. Prachi isn’t scared of Rhea or her threatening. Rhea feels Prachi is again daring to come between Ranbir and her. What will Rhea do now? Earlier in the show, Prachi asks Rhea if she made the game a competition between them. Rhea tells that she wants to hug Ranbir. She goes to play. Shahana asks Prachi to defeat Rhea. Prachi doesn’t want to compete. Dida asks Prachi to stop Rhea from winning. Prachi swears to defeat Rhea in the game. Shahana tells that Ranbir will hug Prachi and then Rhea will die of envy. Dida and Shahana support Prachi. Rhea tells that she has to win the game some how. Pallavi and Aaliya promise to make her win at any cost. Jai tells Ranbir that both the teams are competing a lot. Ranbir tells that they made a little game turn into a cold war. Ranbir and Prachi get into a moment while playing the game. Aaliya fears their union.

Ranbir and Prachi get into a moment when they begin the game. Jai tells the guests about the next round, and excludes some of the players. The game continues. Jai adds twists in the game. Pallavi stumbles because of Rhea and gets hurt. Ranbir holds Pallavi. Dida also gets dizzy. Rhea loses balance too. Ranbir, Pallavi and Dida get out of the game. Rhea, Prachi and Aaliya are the only ones left in the game. They have to occupy the only chair left. Jai tells that they shall see the final winner. Vikram cares for Dida and Pallavi. The last round gets interesting when Rhea and Prachi exchange competitive stares.

Rhea remembers Aaliya’s plan that she will push Prachi away when the music stops. Rhea wants Prachi to see Ranbir and her hug, and cry with a broken heart. Pallavi cheers for Rhea, while Vikram cheers for Prachi. Ranbir doesn’t guess who will win. Jai tells that Prachi might win. Rhea pulls the chair and pushes Prachi away to defeat her. In this tussle, Aaliya falls down on the ground, over her face, while Prachi lands into Ranbir’s caring arms. Rhea loses the overall outcome. She keeps the chair back.
Prachi doesn’t lose her focus and quickly sits on the chair. Prachi wins the game. Rhea and Aaliya fail to win despite their evil efforts. Aaliya tells Rhea that she is okay. Ranbir opens up his arms for Prachi, since she is the winner of the game. He tells that he will hug her because she deserves the prize. Prachi refuses to get the reward. He tells that he isn’t dying to get the prize. Shahana tells that the winner should get the reward. Prachi asks Ranbir to follow the rules and end the hugging drama soon. She feels embarrassing. Ranbir hugs Prachi, while their supporters cheer for her, and opponents get jealous.
Ranbir and Prachi confess that the hug doesn’t make them feel any affection like before, its just for the onlookers. They start feeling their old love, but hide their emotions. Dida blesses them. Rhea grows jealous seeing Prachi sharing a joyful moment with Ranbir. Prachi doesn’t express her happiness, but she is really happy. Rhea angrily throws a plate down to break their hug. Ranbir and Prachi end their long hug. He makes an excuse and goes. Prachi also feels awkward.

Vikram goes out to see if the dhol artists have come. Ranbir sheds tears recalling the hug when he felt helpless because of his immense love for Prachi. He wants to know why he isn’t able to stick to his words. He tells that he wants to go close to Prachi, he wishes to embrace her. He wants to be strong and now fall weak emotionally. He wants to stay away from Prachi, if she wants so. He doesn’t think he should spoil her life. Prachi also sheds tears in anger that she hugged Ranbir, and felt the same love towards him. She tells Shahana that she got affected by Ranbir’s touch, when she felt there is no old feelings left in her, she got the same feeling back, she slipped into the past, she felt good by his hug and care.
He misses their old times. She tells Shahana that Ranbir used to hug her and give her peace whenever she was sad. She felt the same peace today, but doesn’t want to admit it. She tells that the relation isn’t over, but she doesn’t want Ranbir back. She tells Shahana that she doesn’t want to love Ranbir again, she feels helpless to her heart, because of their bitterness. She remembers the bitter moments. Shahana calms her down. Ranbir and Prachi gather their strong selves and return to the Lohri party. They come across once again, and slip into another moment. He saves her from falling down. He asks her to take care, because he isn’t with her next time. She finds Rhea raging. Rhea asks her not to stoop low to get close to Ranbir. Prachi doesn’t want to talk to her.
Rhea lectures her for hugging Ranbir in front of everyone. Prachi tells that it was Rhea’s stupid and shameless idea, no one can announce the hug as a reward. She asks Rhea how can she let anyone hug Ranbir, as if he is some reward. She rebukes Rhea for her shameless plans. Rhea tells that Prachi so wanted to hug him, it was like a longing desire that Prachi was so lost. Prachi asks her not to complain to her. She calls Rhea a fool to cry in front of her. Rhea asks Aaliya to see what did Prachi tell her just to insult her. She controls her anger when Pallavi comes. Pallavi asks Rhea why is she crying. She wants Rhea to be happy on her first Lohri.

Aaliya tells that Prachi is the reason for Rhea’s tears. Pallavi asks Rhea to just Prachi as the unwanted past. She doesn’t want Rhea to make the past a present thing. She tells that she has realized that they are angry on Prachi for no reason. She tells Rhea that Prachi is just Ranbir’s past, if they give her much importance, then they will end up getting disturbed. She asks Rhea to come and celebrate with them. She wants Rhea to enjoy with Ranbir. Aaliya finds Pallavi saying right. She wants Prachi to really turn into Ranbir’s past, rather than his future.
Shahana gets excited seeing the dhol. She asks Prachi to come and dance with her. The Kohlis shake a leg and perform on the Lohri song. Rhea gets upset seeing Ranbir and Prachi together. Pallavi recalls Vikram’s words. Dida brings them together and asks them to smile. Pallavi forgets their issues. They enjoy their time. Ranbir and Prachi’s hearts beat for each other. He gets dreaming about Prachi. He helplessly loves Prachi. He takes her rightfully for a dance, making Rhea more shocked.
