She wants to move on. She wishes Rishi stays happy with his love Malishka. Lakshmi has started her new job, and its her first day.
Rishi and Malishka tell Kalyani about her likes. Kalyani takes them to Lakshmi. She asks Lakshmi to talk to the clients and know their choice to show them the best designs. Lakshmi is much nervous to face this odd situation. Lakshmi unwillingly shows the designs to Rishi and Malishka. On the other hand, Pandit visits the Oberois. He asks Neelam why isn’t Lakshmi with Rishi. He adds that Lakshmi is like a medicine for Rishi’s cure, Rishi can get saved from death if he has Lakshmi with him. He tells that Rishi’s hope and life will get less if he leaves Lakshmi.
Kalyani asks Lakshmi to show the mangalsutra’s latest designs to Malishka. She asks Lakshmi to show the best jewellery to Malishka, who is getting married to Rishi Oberoi. Lakshmi is shocked to know about Rishi and Malishka’s marriage. Malishka doesn’t deter and stays right there, while Rishi turns to see Lakshmi. Lakshmi faces the oddest moment. Earlier in the show, Rishi tells Malishka that he broke all his ties with Lakshmi, now there is nothing between Lakshmi and him. Malishka is really happy to know this. Lakshmi starts a new life. Kalyani asks her to make her life on her own and move on, else she will do wrong with herself. She tells that nobody can help her, she has to help herself. She encourages Lakshmi to get a real smile on her face. She asks Lakshmi to handle the mangalsutra section. Rishi tells Kiran that he will take Malishka to the jewellery store, he will buy a ring and anything that she likes. Malishka is happy to receive an engagement ring. She demands for mangalsutra as well, to which he agrees. Kiran leaves them alone.

Neelam tells Karishma that they have to protect Rishi, even Lakshmi isn’t with them now. She wants to protect Rishi from the upcoming dangers. She goes to meet the pandit. Karishma hopes that there is no dosh on Rishi’s Kundali. She feels Lakshmi is the big problem for Rishi’s life, there is no match between them. She wants Rishi and Malishka to proceed together. Malishka is upset that Rishi got under pressure of marriage because of Kiran. She apologizes to him. He tells her that he can’t stop living his life for Lakshmi.
He tells her the entire incident when he gave the money to Lakshmi, and she returned it for her self esteem. She asks him how dare Lakshmi shows him the attitude. She wishes she was there that time. He doesn’t want to think about Lakshmi. She asks him will he meet Lakshmi and tell her about their marriage. He swears that he will not talk to Lakshmi ever, who has hurt him a lot. She asks him if he didn’t tell his mom about their shopping plans. He tells that he will inform Neelam. Kalyani asks Lakshmi to get the mangalsutra boxes.
Lakshmi cries seeing a mangalsutra. Rishi and Malishka come there to the same store. Pandit tells Neelam about Rishi’s Kundali dosh, they can save Rishi from the death if she can find the right cure, that’s Lakshmi. He tells that Rishi would have not got saved till now if Lakshmi wasn’t with him. He adds that Rishi’s life will get less if he doesn’t have Lakshmi with him. Karishma asks Neelam not to worry, everything is normal with Rishi.
Pandit tells Neelam that they shall start the puja. Neelam takes him. Malishka thinks if she has seen Lakshmi. Rishi asks Malishka to come with him. She tells that she felt like she has seen Lakshmi. She asks him to go and select a ring for him. Lakshmi picks the mangalsutra. Malishka tells Kalyani about her marriage. Kalyani takes her to show the wedding collection. She tells that she will show her the necklaces first and then the mangalsutra. Malishka tells that her would be husband will be buying the jewellery for her. Kalyani asks Rupali to send the new girl with the boxes. Rupali asks Lakshmi to take the boxes to Kalyani.

Malishka is shocked to see Lakshmi. Kalyani tells Lakshmi that Malishka is getting married to Rishi Oberoi, they have to show the best designs for Malishka. Rishi doesn’t like any jewellery. He wants something special and unique. He tells that maybe he won’t be able to explain, Malishka will decide about it. He tells that the necklace should look ancestral and unique, it should be sleek and trendy. The lady Rupali tells that Rishi is confused, he wants the traditional necklace with the modern touch. She tells the salesman that it will be hard to show the right jewellery to Rishi.
She takes two designs to Rishi, and tells that one is traditional and the other is trendy, just like Lakshmi and Malishka, who are poles apart. She tells that she will see what he chooses. Malishka insults Lakshmi and scolds her. Kalyani tells that Lakshmi is a needy girl and is given the job for charity. Malishka asks Kalyani not to keep such people on job. Lakshmi tells that its her first day, she will learn. Malishka asks her to learn and control her attitude. Lakshmi asks by what right is she advising her, when she herself can’t differentiate between right and wrong.
Kalyani apologizes to Malishka. Kalyani asks Lakshmi not to upset her customers. She asks her to go to the other section. Lakshmi thinks she had come between two lovers. Malishka didn’t imagine that she will meet Lakshmi here. She doesn’t want Rishi to see Lakshmi. Rishi chooses the traditional design, which signifies that he chose Lakshmi. He goes to see some engagement rings. Lakshmi is also close. She gets to see Rishi there.
