Yeh Rishta 5th May 2022 Written Update Abhira Wedding begins Abhimanyu gets surprised seeing Akshara arriving to take him, through a hot air balloon. Abhimanyu teasingly asks Akshara if the song and ritual got reversed as now “Dulhaniya, Dilwale Dulhe ko le jayegi”. Akshara smiles cutely and sings, “Tere Naal Main Aawangi, Sasural Main Javangi”. Abhimanyu picks up Akshara in his arms and twirls her. Akshara asks Abhimanyu if he is fine. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he is absolutely fine after seeing her. He asks Akshara if she is fine or took any kind of stress.
Akshara asks Abhimanyu, what kind of question is that? She tells Abhimanyu that she came to pick him, Aarohi and her wedding lehenga. Abhimanyu asks Akshara if she is mad or crazy as she came in the hot air balloon. Akshara asks Abhimanyu if she wouldn’t have arrived to pick him up, then how he would arrive with the marriage procession to take her to his house. Abhimanyu feels impressed with Akshara’s far-fetched thinking. Aarohi comes and asks Akshara how she got the hot air balloon idea. Akshara asks Aarohi what happened to her foot. Aarohi tells Akshara that she sprained her foot, which is why she and Abhimanyu got more late.
Abhimanyu shows wedding lehenga to Akshara. Akshara gets teary eyed and jumps in joy seeing her wedding lehenga. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that this is wrong, as she was not so excited seeing him as much as she is getting excited seeing her wedding lehenga. Akshara asks Abhimanyu if he is getting jealous. Akshara asks Aarohi to see that her brother-in-law is getting jealous. Aarohi laughs hearing this. Abhimanyu says he isn’t getting jealous. He tells Akshara that they should return to their wedding venue as soon as possible as everyone would be waiting for them. Akshara asks the aeronaut to take them back from where they came.
Aeronaut apologizes to Akshara and says that except him only two more people can travel in the hot air balloon. Askhara gets into a dilemma. At the same time a car arrives. Driver tells Akshara, Abhimanyu and Aarohi that Reem sent him to pick them up. Abhimanyu holds Akshara’s hand to sit in the car. Aarohi stops them and asks the driver about traffic jam conditions. Driver says he found less traffic while arriving but there will surely be a lot of traffic while returning to the resort/wedding venue. Abhimanyu asks Akshara to come with him in the hot air balloon and let Aarohi come by car. He tells Akshara that they need to reach the resort/wedding venue first as it’s important as they are the bride and groom.
On the other hand, Reem informs Birla and Goenka, family that Akshara and Abhimanyu are returning from a hot air balloon as they could have got stuck in the traffic jam. She says she found it a smart decision. Harsh angrily asks Reem what about safety as anything like an accident could happen. Vansh tells Harsh that accidents can occur on the road too. Reem asks both families to pray that Abhimanyu and Akshara reach the wedding venue/resort safely and on time. Suhasini asks everyone to get ready for the wedding as they will start all the rituals as soon as Abhimanyu and Akshara arrive.
Harsh tells Anand that even today everything is going according to Goenkas. He says today wedding lehenga was given more priority than groom (Abhimanyu). Harsh says he will talk to Abhimanyu as soon as he returns. On the other hand, Akshara tries to not let Abhimanyu feel scared. She expresses her happiness by screaming and telling Jaipur residents that she is going to get married today. Abhimanyu smiles seeing excited and childish Akshara. He asks Akshara, if only she is getting married. Akshara turns and announces that Abhimanyu Birla and Akshara Goenka are getting married. She screams telling everyone that it’s a great grand Abhira wedding.
Akshara and Abhimanyu keep staring at each other with love. “Life is beautiful” song plays in the background. Suhasini tells Swarna that she is doubtful about what type of clothes Birlas would have brought for wearing in the wedding. She says she feels that Birlas would have simple-sober clothes but a little heavy clothes looks good in marriage. Suhasini tells Swarna that this is why she is giving some heavy clothes to Birlas from their side. Mahima on the other hand, tells Manjiri that no matter what, Goenkas shouldn’t have sent Abhimanyu to search for Akshara’s wedding lehenga.
Swarna and Suhasini come and give clothes to Manjiri and Mahima. They explain to Manjiri and Mahima that according to their rituals, the groom’s family wears the clothes that the bride’s family gifts them on wedding day. Swarna requests Manjiri and Mahima to wear their gifted clothes as they brought them with love. As Swarna and Suhasini leave, Mahima shows tantrums about heavy weight clothes gifted by Goenkas. Manjiri requests Mahima to not create any issue out of it. On the other hand, Abhimanyu requests Akshara to let him see her face. He asks Akshara to remove her veil.
Akshara tells Abhimanyu that she doesn’t want any other issue or problem in their wedding. Abhimanyu tells Akshara that he agreed to this and stayed silent with this ritual because he respects his elders, otherwise he doesn’t believe in all this. Akshara tells Abhimanyu that it’s fine as in future, they won’t get a chance to see each other through the cover of the veil! A song like shown in bollywood films starts. Abhimanyu and Akshara are seen dancing on a song like the lead pair of the bollywood film. “Ghunghat Ki Aad Se Dilbar Ka” song plays in the background.
All this turns out to be Abhimanyu and Akshara’s imagination. On the other hand, Harsh asks why Abhimanyu and Akshara are taking so long to return, when they are returning by flying in the hot air balloon. Manish says Akshara and Abhimanyu are not returning in the car, that they could increase their speed. Manjiri and Swarna request Harsh and Manish to stop and not ruin/spoil their mood before marriage. Suddenly, a stormy breeze arises out of nowhere. Everyone gets worried thinking that this breeze might make Akshara and Abhimanyu more late for their wedding. All the decorations start falling, increasing everyone’s worries. Akhilesh says air balloon travel isn’t safe in this weather.

This information worries everyone. Abhimanyu on the other hand, keeps Akshara calm by telling her that now no problem can separate them. Birlas and Goenkas also try to calm each other’s tension. Kairav blames himself for all this. Manish and Manjiri tell Kairav that it’s not his fault but natural. She says Lord Krishna will make everything alright and starts praying. Stormy breeze stops suddenly. Everyone thanks God. Akshara and Abhimanyu return to the resort through the hot air balloon. Akshara grabbing her wedding lehenga like something precious, runs and hugs Kairav. Abhimanyu runs and touches Manjiri’s feet. He informs everyone that Akshara’s wedding lehenga is found.
Kairav politely scolds Akshara for going without informing anyone. Akshara says she is fine. She asks about Aarohi. Reem tells Akshara that the driver is bringing Aarohi from alleyways, so that she could reach for and attend the wedding on time. Everyone asks Akshara and Abhimanyu to get ready for the wedding quickly. Abhimanyu and Akshara’s wedding outfits, jewelry and footwear are shown. Both Abhimanyu and Akshara dance in happiness after taking a bath. After this they do their hair and make-up. Both Abhimanyu and Akshara caress their wedding outfits and wear it. Then they wear their accessories and jewelry. Akshara and Abhimanyu say that the bride and groom are ready.
Goenkas are seen busy in wedding preparations. As Akhilesh asks about Aarohi’s whereabouts, she returns. On the other hand, Manjiri shows the kalgi she made for Abhimanyu. Neil says it’s beautiful. Harsh comes and rudely asks Manjiri to help him with his sherwani button. Both Birla and Goenka family gets awestruck and emotional witnessing Abhimanyu and Akshara decked up as groom and bride, respectively. Suhasini wards off evil eye from Akshara. Akshara wipes Kairav’s tears. Kairav also wards off bad/evil sight from Akshara and hugs her. Both brother and sister get emotional.
On the other hand, Birla family gets awestruck and emotional seeing Abhimanyu all decked up in groom’s outfit. Abhimanyu touches Manjiri’s feet and Manjiri kisses his forehead and blesses him. She applies a Kala Teeka behind Abhimanyu’s ear and wards off evil eye from him. Neil tells Abhimanyu that he is looking dashing. Swarna performs bride Akshara’s veneration. She makes her sit and wear shagun bangles. Akshara gets emotional wearing her mother’s bangles. Emotional Aarohi wipes her tears.
In the next episode, Akshara will get excited with the arrival of Abhimanyu’s marriage procession. Abhimanyu will be seen arriving on a bike. Akshara from her will watch Abhimanyu and ward off evil eye/sight from him. Abhimanyu will get down and excitedly dance on the song, “Sauda Khara Khara” with his siblings and sister-in-law. Seeing this emotional and excited Akshara will also dance in her room.
