Anupama Grand Wedding Begins 18th May 2022 Update Anupama asks her children to promise her that they will take care of themselves and each other. Anupama’s Children agree and promise Anupama the same. They ask Anupama to focus on her married life responsibilities and Anuj as after her marriage they will handle everything at Shah house. Anupama starts crying seeing her children becoming mature. Samar jokes. Children ask Anupama to not take the baggage of the Shahs responsibilities on herself anymore and live her life to the fullest. Samar asks Anupama to always ignore the unjustified demands from anyone.
Pakhi tells Anupama that she has already fulfilled all her motherly duties. Later both Anuj and Anupama are seen happily getting ready in their wedding outfits. Meenu praises Anupama’s bridal look by calling her pretty. Dolly applies kaala teeka to Anupama. On the other hand, GK and Devika get emotional seeing Anuj fully ready for his wedding. Pakhi gets emotional recalling how she always taunted Anupama because of her own selfish behavior. Anupama recalls Anuj’s marriage proposal and people’s taunts about marrying at this age. She also recalls some family members supporting her and Anuj.
Anupama further recalls proposing to Anuj for marriage in front of the whole world. She recalls Baa cursing her about some untoward happening in her wedding. After this, she recalls Bapuji fainting and how his illness got revealed. She also recalls Bapuji’s wish to see her getting married. All the girls/women, who were helping Anupama in getting ready, leave to see wedding preparations as well as the wedding procession. Anuj and Anupama feel very happy thinking that now they will finally become each other’s. Later, the whole family feels happy and claps in excitement about Anuj and Anupama’s wedding.
Vanraj from a distance sees his family happy and himself feels happy. Kavya notices Vanraj and goes to him. She reminds Vanraj that Anupama saved them from the police and got them married. Kavya asks Vanraj to pay off Anupama’s debt today by wholeheartedly attending her and Anuj’s wedding and wishing them happy married life. Vanraj feels confused. Shahs discuss how they stopped Anupama from crying about Malvika’s absence in her and Anuj’s wedding. Samar tells everyone that he promised Malvika that they won’t let Anuj feel the lack of her.
Samar receives Devika’s message and informs everyone that the wedding procession has left for the wedding venue. Everyone hoots in excitement and gets ready to welcome Anuj’s wedding procession. Bapuji and Kavya feel that Baa and Vanraj should have been with them to welcome the wedding procession as it would have increased everyone’s happiness twofold. Samar and Paritosh say it’s fine as they are enough. GK and Devika arrive with Anuj and his wedding procession. Anuj dances on the song “Shadi Karvado” from the film “Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain”. Samar and Paritosh join Anuj, GK and Devika.

Shah’s welcomes Anuj and his family. Anuj takes Kanta’s blessings by touching her feet. Kanta blesses Anuj in return. Rakhi stops Kanta from performing Anuj’s aarti. She says it’s Baa’s right as it’s her house and moreover Anupama considers Baa as her mother. Kanta says she would have also felt happy if Leela would have volunteered to perform Anuj’s aarti. She tells Rakhi that she is performing Anuj’s aarti as Leela doesn’t want to. Rakhi asks Kanta to go ahead. Anuj asks Kanta to perform his aarti quickly as he can’t wait anymore to sit in the mandap. Pakhi asks Anuj if he won’t enter the wedding venue if his aarti won’t be performed.
Anuj tells Pakhi that he will enter the wedding venue even if the bride’s relatives will lay or spread landmines in his way. Everyone laughs hearing this. Pakhi tells Anuj that they have laid flower petals in his way. Anuj thanks her. Kanta applies tika to Anuj’s forehead. Baa snatches pooja thali from Kanta as she is about to revolve it to perform Anuj’s aarti. This shocks everyone. Baa smiles and performs Anuj’s aarti with Kanta. This stunns and surprises everyone. Baa pulls Anuj’s nose as per the rituals. Anuj hugs Baa and touches her feet. Baa blesses happiness to Anuj. Anuj reminds Baa that once he told her that she will bless him wholeheartedly. He says he is glad that it’s today’s day. Anuj thanks Baa.
At the same time Baa’s 2 friends and neighbors arrive there and greet Baa. They tell Baa that they came to become a part of Anupama’s happiness and to bless her. Bapuji says good people successfully make other people become good just like them. GK says truth and goodness always wins. On the other hand, Anupama feels excited as well as nervous. She requests God to take care of everything. Vanraj notices all this. At the bride and groom stage, Anuj asks where his bride is. Dolly and Paritosh ask Anuj to have patience as his bride will come showing some tantrums like every bride. Anuj says no problem, but his bride must come to the mandap anyhow.
Devika changes to the bride’s side saying that Anupama is her bestie. She tells Anuj that after farewell (bidaai) she will change to his side. Anuj says it’s not needed as after bidaai, the bride and bride’s relatives will be on his side only. Anuj shows impatience to see Anupama in bridal attire. Everyone says “Awwww” seeing Anuj’s cute and pure love for Anupama. Anupama makes a beautiful and grand entry in bridal attire. Anuj gets mesmerized seeing Anupama decked up in bridal attire. Everyone else also gets surprised seeing Anupama decked up in the bridal outfit. Devika, Dolly and Pakhi dance around Anupama with other women/girls.
Vanraj comes there and gets mesmerized seeing Anupama decked up beautifully in bridal attire. Anupama enters like a shy bride. Paritosh and Samar make Anupama walk towards Anuj by stepping on their hands. Emotional Anupama smiles on reaching Anuj. Anupama shows Anuj that she has worn his mother’s ghungroos that he gifted her. Anuj feels emotional as well as happy. Anupama starts dancing with Anuj on the song, “Phool Maangu Na Bahaar Maangu”. In the next episode, Anupama and Anuj will happily make each other wear the wedding garlands (Varmala).
