Kumkum Bhagya 31st May 2022 Written Update Divorce twist Ranbir rushes home to make some quick arrangements to welcome Prachi home. Prachi is surprised when she finds Ranbir at the door with the puja plate. He does her aarti and welcomes her by following the rituals. He tells her that she can now enter the house. He holds her hand and gets her inside the house, while Rhea stares at them jealously. Prachi tells Shahana that its Ranbir and her third wedding anniversary. She adds that he had made many promises to her on this day, he didn’t just marry her, but sworn to keep her happy, but now after three years, he just remembers Rhea and his business. She vents out her frustration in front of Shahana. Rhea hears her words and gets too joyed up.
Further in the show, Ranbir confesses to Rhea that he loves Prachi and now things got too clear for him, he knows what is right and what is wrong. Rhea asks him what does he mean to say. He shocks her saying he wants a divorce from her. Rhea angrily pushes Prachi. She loses her cool. Ranbir holds Prachi and secures her. Pallavi shouts that only Rhea is her bahu. Ranbir shouts back that Prachi is his wife, and she is soon to become the mother of his child. He takes a stand for Prachi and holds her hand. Earlier in the show, Ranbir and Prachi get into a moment, when her saree cloth gets stuck in his watch strap. He asks her not to get angry. He helps her. Rhea watches them sharing a moment. Rhea angrily tears Prachi’s saree. Ranbir asks Rhea what did she do. Rhea tells that she will gift a saree to her sweet sister. He asks them to talk, while he goes home. Rhea warns Prachi to stay away from Ranbir.
Prachi isn’t scared of Rhea. She tells that she just does what she wants. She can do anything to get her rights. She reminds Rhea the challenge. She tells that 7 days will get completed tomorrow, Rhea will need an excuse for her defeat. She wishes Rhea all the best and goes to enter the house. Rhea gets enraged. She tells that Prachi is still stuck in the old stories, and doesn’t know how the new story will take a turn.

Prachi enters the house. She is surprised when she sees Ranbir awaiting her to welcome. Rhea is also surprised. She asks what is going on. Prachi tells that even she doesn’t know it. He tells that he wants to perform the aarti and welcome Prachi. He asks Rhea and Shahana to come inside, he just wants to do Prachi’s aarti. He thinks a bride also gets a warm welcome, and even a would be mother should get a nice welcome. Dida asks the reason for the welcome.
Ranbir tells that Prachi needs a nice welcome. Dida tells that Pallavi should do the aarti. Ranbir tells that its his wish to welcome Prachi, he wants to make some welcome promises as well. He tells her that he wants to give her all the happiness, he wants to welcome her, even his family is welcoming her, she has a relation with all of them. He does her aarti and asks her to come inside the house now. Prachi is surprised. Ranbir holds her hand and takes her.
He asks her what will she have, if she has any food craving, she might want to have spicy food. She tells that she doesn’t want to have anything now. Ranbir pampers Prachi. He tells Rhea that he is feeling much pain, he will see her around. He avoids Rhea and goes away. Pallavi asks Dida if she gave the aarti idea to Prachi. Vikram asks them not to discuss this, Ranbir wanted to thank Prachi, after all she saved his life. Rhea stays calm thinking of Ranbir and her moment. Aaliya thinks why is Rhea smiling even after seeing all this. Pallavi finds this really strange. Dida tells that Ranbir is totally mad for Prachi.
Aaliya goes to Rhea’s room and finds her dancing. She reminds how Ranbir has welcomed Prachi. She asks Rhea to react. Rhea happily tells that Ranbir got to know her value, she is really happy that Ranbir has developed feelings for her. She tells Aaliya about Ranbir and her hug, he was sharing his happiness. She doesn’t know the reason for his happiness. She guesses that he loves her. Aaliya asks did this really happen. Rhea tells that Ranbir finally values her love. Aaliya is happy for Rhea. Shahana asks Prachi why is she looking upset, when she had decided to tell everything to Ranbir.

Prachi tells that she has seen Ranbir changing so much, she was happy to give her pregnancy news to Ranbir, but its good that she met with an accident, else she would have regretted. She tells that she was asleep, when she woke up, she saw Ranbir happily hugging Rhea. She asks why was he happy, that she was dying. Ranbir thanks God for giving him much happiness, for bringing Prachi in his life and fate, for saving Prachi’s life. He tells that he can’t share his feelings with anyone. He tells that he held Prachi’s hand and felt that he held his family’s hand. He prays that he gets a daughter.
He promises that he will never leave Prachi’s hand now. Prachi tells that a husband and a wife take care of each other in the tough time, Ranbir was happy about her accident. She tells Shahana that he knows Ranbir well, she has never seen Ranbir so happy. Ranbir wonders what gift will be give to Prachi, something that really needs, something that reminds her of him. Prachi tells that she doesn’t want to tell anything to Ranbir now. Shahana asks how long will she hide this. Prachi tells that she will give the news to Ranbir and go away from him, he will undergo the same pain and then know it. Shahana hugs her. Ranbir is grateful that Prachi is going to bring his baby in the world. He wants to tell her how much he loves her.
Prachi asks Shahana to go and have food. Shahana asks her not to blackmail her. They share a laugh. Ranbir thinks Prachi and Shahana fooled him about the pregnancy. He is glad that Shahana will stay with Prachi and care for her. He asks Shahana how is the baby. She tells that the baby is fine. He asks her to stay at home till the delivery then he will name the baby. She gets worried and runs away to avoid him. He goes to see Prachi. He asks her to have the food. She tells that she will have it herself. Ranbir tells that she has to eat the food when Dida and Shahana come and scold her. He asks her to please eat. He serves her the food. She stays puzzled seeing his behavioural change.
