Yeh Rishta 12th July 2022 Written Update Abhi accused Broken Abhimanyu hides under the sheet like he used to do in his childhood. He recalls Harsh’s bitter words and behavior towards Manjiri. Akshara cries witnessing Abhimanyu’s state. Manjiri comes and removes the sheet from above Abhimanyu. Abhimanyu makes Manjiri sit with him. He wipes his mother’s tears and hugs her. Akshara witnesses mother-son handling each other. Abhimanyu tells Manjiri that she fought a big battle which he witnessed for years, since his childhood. He tells Manjiri that now everything is over.
Akshara wipes her tears and leaves the mother-son duo to have some alone time with each other. Akshara thinks that now everything that Swarna and Suhasini taught her about handling relations and situations will come in handy. She decides to handle the worst situation and relations which have been affected by Harsh’s decision to leave the house. Next morning, Akshara and Manjiri are seen performing morning pooja. Abhimanyu joins Manjiri and Akshara. He feels pain in his wrist and recalls how it got pressurized under heavy furniture, while saving him and Akshara from the fire incident.
Abhimanyu hides his pain from everyone, even Akshara. At Goenka house, Aarohi gets shocked when Akhilesh tells her that a London settled surgeon sent a marriage proposal for her. Akhilesh asks Aarohi what is the problem now as she is now getting the marriage proposal from a guy who is equal to her in status. Aarohi tells Akhilesh that she doesn’t want to get married at present. Suhasini asks Akhilesh to find someone for Aarohi in India or in their city only. She says she doesn’t want to send her granddaughter so far away. Akhilesh tells Suhasini that London is just one flight away.
When Aarohi shows reluctance, Vansh tells Aarohi that he checked the London guy’s profile and he is equal in status and qualification just like Abhimanyu. Aarohi recalls how Abhimanyu chose Akshara above her. She asks her family to make her meet this London guy. This makes Goenkas stunned and happy. Aarohi smiles evilly thinking that she wants a guy even better than Abhimanyu. At Birla house, Abhimanyu notices everyone’s sad faces. He apologizes to his family for upsetting them by asking Harsh to leave the house. Abhimanyu tells his family that even he wasn’t wrong. He says Manjiri gave her whole life to Birla house and thus she won’t go anywhere.

Neil tells Abhimanyu that Manjiri doesn’t need to go anywhere as it’s her house. Anand reminds Abhimanyu and Neil that Harsh is their father. Neil says Harsh deceived both his and Abhimanyu’s mother. Anand says Harsh got punished for his crime as he lost his position at hospital and now even Manjiri is divorcing him. He says he didn’t like how Harsh left the house. This irks Abhimanyu. Anand says Harsh is his brother and it’s his responsibility to handle Harsh as divorce doesn’t take place in blood relations. Angry Abhimanyu chooses to remain silent.
Akshara makes Manjiri sit on the dining table. She tells Manjiri that now it’s her responsibility to serve food to everyone. Abhimanyu and Neil feel happy seeing Akshara supporting Manjiri and helping her with household responsibilities. Abhimanyu finds it difficult to serve food to Manjiri from his right hand, so he uses his left hand for it. Anand tells the whole family that their hospital’s image has been affected badly since the fire incident happened at the hospital. He says the press are questioning their hospital’s safety and security. Anand says they have to clear their hospital’s image by hard work.
He also reveals that they have the opportunity to clear their hospital’s image by working on the lot of surgeries lined up at the hospital for next week. Abhimanyu asks Anand to plan or schedule his surgeries too within 1-2 days as he can’t sit idle anymore. He says till then, he will handle OPD. Akshara in a lower voice teases Abhimanyu. Anand tells Abhimanyu that they are retaining 4 interns and resident doctors out of many. He also tells Abhimanyu that they are offering promotions and permanent jobs to these retained doctors and interns. Abhimanyu feels a little bad seeing Aarohi’s name up for promotion. Anand says Aarohi is hardworking and deserves the promotion.
Abhimanyu says he has no objection as he can’t let his personal equation with Aarohi affect her profession or career. Abhimanyu feels difficulty in eating food from his right hand. Thinking that already many issues are going on at home, he decides to hide his wrist pain from Akshara and not trouble her anymore. Abhimanyu texts Rohan to book an MRI for him and not tell anyone about it. Taking Anand’s permission, Akshara informs Aarohi that she has been promoted and got a permanent job at Birla hospital. At Goenka house, an excited Aarohi tells her family that she got a promotion and became a permanent doctor of Birla hospital. Everyone gets happy and congratulates Aarohi.

Aarohi gets emotional seeing everyone happy for her. Everyone says it’s celebration time. Aarohi decides to become better than Abhimanyu and Akshara, both in personal and professional life. Abhimanyu, on the other hand, reaches the MRI room of Birla hospital. Rohan asks Abhimanyu if something happened to his hand. On the other hand, Akshara reaches the hospital and searches for Abhimanyu and Aarohi. In the MRI room, Rohan tells Abhimanyu that any pain, can’t be ignored in his profession but not hand’s pain. He says a hand for a surgeon is equally important as a throat is for a singer and feet for an athlete.
Abhimanyu feels worried about his hand/wrist and profession. A staff member tells Akshara that Abhimanyu was seen walking towards the MRI room. Abhimanyu recalls how his hand has become weak to hold anything or anyone after the fire incident. He takes out his rings and wrist watch for an MRI scan of his to be done. Akshara meets Rohan outside the MRI room. Rohan lies to Akshara that Abhimanyu is busy in consulting someone. Akshara leaves and Rohan feels apologetic for lying to Akshara. Abhimanyu starts his hand’s MRI scan.
On the other hand, everyone at the hospital congratulates Aarohi for getting promoted. Aarohi asks her colleagues to not think that she got a promotion because of her sister. She says that she has worked really hard in endless night shifts and overtime for promotion. Aarohi’s colleague asks Aarohi why they didn’t get a promotion as they also worked hard like her. Aarohi says competition gets tough, where hardworking and intelligent people exist. Aarohi gets happy seeing people praising her on social media. Being busy on her phone, Aarohi drops patients’ files. Prescriptions get mixed up. She gives medicine to the nurse to inject it to the child patient.
When the nurse feels doubtful, she requests Aarohi to confirm the medicine once from Abhimanyu. Egoistic Aarohi in her ego injects the wrong medicine in the child patient’s iv drip, without confirming it from Abhimanyu. Later, Akshara meets Aarohi and congratulates her for getting a promotion. Akshara tells Aarohi that Abhimanyu praised her. This stunns Aarohi. Akshara leaves to have lunch. Aarohi thinks that she deserves praise as she is the best. She wishes to quickly get her promotion letter and permanent ID. Soon the child patient starts getting serious due to the wrong medicine injected by Aarohi.
At the canteen, Abhimanyu feels worried due to increasing pain in his wrist. He feels worried about his profession. As Akshara arrives with lunch, Abhimanyu hides his pain from her. Akshara serves lunch to Abhimanyu. She asks Abhimanyu where his engagement ring is. Abhimanyu thinks that his engagement ring fell down somewhere in the MRI room in haste.
In the next episode, the child patient’s parents will accuse Abhimanyu of putting their child’s life in danger. They will keep accusing Abhimanyu for injecting wrong medicine to their child. Akshara will get worried for Abhimanyu. Aarohi will get tense realizing that she injected wrong medicine in the child patient’s iv drip. Akshara will suspect Aarohi behind the serious condition of the child patient and question her. Aarohi will look scared.
