2 twists in Anupama divert Malti-Anuj’s track Anupama rebukes Kavya for her wrong act. She tells that no reason can justify a cheat. She can’t forgive Kavya for cheating on Vanraj. She asks Kavya to go and tell the truth to Vanraj. Kavya feels guilty when Anupama shows her a mirror. Anupama asks her to lessen the guilt by sharing the truth with Vanraj. She advises Kavya to gather courage and tell the truth. Kavya refuses. Anupama asks her to do anything she wants. Vanraj comes to see Kavya. He gets to see Anupama talking to Kavya. He overhears them and learns the truth about Kavya’s cheat. Anupama lectures Kavya. She tells that Kavya should accept her mistake and not play a victim card. She tells that the same rules imply to men and women. She defends Vanraj’s emotions.

She asks Kavya how did she cheat on Vanraj, who trusts her so much. Kavya tells that she can’t tell the truth to Vanraj. She adds that Vanraj will break down knowing the truth that the child belongs to her ex Anirudh. Vanraj is shattered on hearing this. Kavya’s words echo in his ears. He screams and vents his anger. Anupama reaches a shattered Vanraj to console him. She finds him getting hyper. Later, a new fight arises in Anuj’s house, when Ankush’s illegitimate son walks in to stay with the family. Barkha questions Anupama if she would have allowed Anuj’s illegitimate son to stay with them. She refuses to accept Ankush’s son.
