Suicide twist in Bhagya Lakshmi stuns Lakshmi. Shalu attempts to stop Lakshmi’s marriage. She takes a knife and threatens to cut her throat if Lakshmi takes the rounds with Vikrant. She takes the water to put off the havan kund fire. Lakshmi stops Shalu. Rano asks Shalu to stop her madness. She slaps Shalu in response to her suicide drama. Vikrant worries that Lakshmi may back out for her sister’s life. Rano asks Lakshmi to take the rounds, while she handles Shalu. Shalu falls to Lakshmi’s feet and begs her to not marry Vikrant. Lakshmi asks her what happened to her and why is she behaving so sternly. Shalu tells that everyone is mistaken for Vikrant, but she knows his truth. She tells the family that she has seen Vikrant with his wife and she hates him. Lakshmi asks her to keep her manners.
Shalu asks her not to marry because Vikrant is the wrong man. Lakshmi slaps Shalu to put an end to the madness. Shalu and Ayush have worked hard to stop the marriage and delay the rituals until Rishi comes. They are sure that Rishi will come and stop the marriage. Shalu gets rigid and tries to break the gathbandhan. She asks Vikrant to leave. Lakshmi warns Shalu. Shalu tells that she will not let Lakshmi marry until she is alive. She asks Lakshmi to see her dying and then marry. Rano asks her if she has gone mad to stop the marriage. She explains that Lakshmi knows what is right for her. She drags Shalu out of the mandap. Bani asks Lakshmi not to marry for the sake of their happiness.
Shalu’s anger doesn’t end. She tells that she will end her life if Lakshmi doesn’t listen to her. Lakshmi asks Shalu not to hurt herself. Much drama happens during the rounds. Lakshmi asks Bani to explain Shalu. Bani also supports Shalu. Malishka takes the knife from Shalu’s hand and asks her to end her drama. She asks her to get out of the house and play the emotional drama. She asks Shalu not to make Lakshmi emotional. Lakshmi continues the next rounds. Bani comes up with a plan to stop the marriage. She also tries hard to save her sister’s life.
