Anupama 4th September 2023 Written Update Upsetting. Ankush inquires of Barkha if she has located the money. She replies in the negative, stating no one has been here and questions Ankush if he spent it. He answers that he used his own money and Anuj gives him ample salary to cover any expenses. Barkha remarks that he will find the funds in the right place. Adhik tells Romil he shouldn’t go to the room and offers to check it himself. However, Romil refuses. When Pakhi arrives, Adhik suggests that she check his room instead. Romil snaps back that he will do it himself while calling Adhik a cheat. Pakhi then intervenes and requests that he talk civilly.
Barkha examines Romil’s quarters while Romil inspects Adhik’s. She gets hurt and takes a seat. When Romil emerges from Adhik’s room, the latter questions if the cash was discovered. He states that this audacity is typical of burglars before they are ensnared. Anupama implores them to be peaceful, but Romil slams back, asserting she will not get anything. Then Pakhi enters and reveals the briefcase holding money that was in Romil’s room. He scoffs, denying taking it. Romil states he has done no wrong, and Adhik suggests the money may have gone to play hide and seek in his room. Barkha asks him to apologize, which Adhik also insists, pointing out Romil had pleaded with Pakhi previously.
However, Romil declines and firmly maintains that Adhik has concealed money in his room. Pakhi defends her brother’s innocence, but Romil claims Adhik and his sisters have been trying to force him from the area by falsely accusing him for a while now. Ankush states that the children become diverted when they spot money. Pakhi requests him not to point a finger at her husband, while Romil stresses that it wasn’t him who stole it and alleges that it was done by Barkha. Adhik objects to Barkha being dragged into the matter. Romil retorts back saying she always defends him, no matter what wrong he does – including slapping Pakhi.

Barkha then informs Ankush that Romil has branded his wife as a thief in the past. To this, Ankush remarks that his wife had previously accused Romil of theft. Romil and Barkha get into an argument, which leads to Ankush yelling and slapping him. Anguish evident on his face, he lamented that he had looked after Romil with fatherly care, hoping to give him the best education possible. He begs Romil to tell the truth: that he didn’t steal the money. Anupama intervenes and requests for them to put an end to this altercation.
