Kumkum Bhagya DDLJ Scene of Ranbir and Prachi. Prachi wakes up in Ranbir’s room, and he greets her good morning. She inquires about his presence, to which he reminds her that it is, indeed, his bedroom. Not missing a beat, she changes the topic to why she is here. He tries to wrap her up in a hug but she resists. Ranbir recollects their situation from the night before; Prachi concurs but mentions that something must have been at fault as it wasn’t her behavior. He agrees with her statement and humorously adds that it was both ‘good’ and ‘scary.’
Prachi questions what Ranbir has to say. He admits defeat and declares that it’s all her fault, but they need to try to start over. Last night, Prachi had told him everything about Akshay and despite that, he wouldn’t let her go back to him, particularly after last night. When she wonders what he means by that, he lifts his collar and reveals the lipstick mark on his neck. Prachi protests that it was not from her and demands to know the truth.
Ranbir exclaims he was only teasing her, for trying to get too close, then goes on to sleep. Prachi rebukes him saying she could have had a heart attack and died. She then hits him but he pulls her close and says he loves her dearly but has no intention of taking advantage of her inebriated state. Calmly, he explains that he retreated out of care for her and because seeing her face gives him peace, simply making his heart beat faster.
Prachi thinks I love you, but can’t express it. She inquires if he has anything to tell her. Then, she quizzes him about what she said about Akshay and herself; Ranbir affirms he knows it all, that she doesn’t feel for Akshay and loves him instead. She tells him she’ll get ready and meet him by the stairs, which elicits a smile from Ranbir.
