Maina runs over, but Ahilya stops her and demands an explanation. He admits to loving Kesar and wanting to be with her, although he is uncertain of how she would react. Ahilya scolds him for deceiving Maina and orders them all back to the palace. She berates Kesar for knowing about Malerao’s existing marriage. Ahilya says she wanted an answer, knowing it would be wrong, yet he chose to take part in this act of wrong-doing. She had respected him; and his reaction?
Going back home, Ahilya implores Malerao to desist from continuing down the immoral road. Saddened, Kesar returns home and breaks into tears. Ahilya informs the family that Malerao has gone to marry without telling anyone, leaving them in shock. Kesar then acknowledges that even though Malerao hadn’t tried to deceive her, it was still a sin to love a married man. Malerao stands up for himself by questioning whether it is wrong to love someone. Ahilya informs Malerao that his approach is incorrect; he should have obtained the agreement of his wife, seeing Maina’s tears. He queries if her permission would be granted for him to wed Kesar.

The judge declared Arjun innocent and instructed the authorities to apprehend Pradyuman and commence the investigation against him. Nitya embraced Arjun with emotion, while Dadi and Jagadish both apologized to Kashvi for misjudging her; she insisted it was not their error. Dadi expressed that one should be thankful as all had gone well in the end, and proposed that the family should return home to commemorate this victory. Arjun became fondly intimate with Kashvi; she asked him to go home first as she had a surprise waiting there for him.

Shagun arrives accompanied by Sumeet’s family, who have been taken hostage by the armed thugs. She is there to save Raunak and the young man quickly establishes authority, declaring that he will decide what must be done. Shagun forces Rajiv to come dressed as a female and dance while commanding Poonam to massage her legs. She dictates Sumeet to keep dancing without interruption, threatening that Shlok would be killed if he broke his steps. Raunak attempts to hit on Sumeet, which provokes Poonam who responds by slapping him. An enraged Shagun scolds Poonam for insulting her and causing injury to Raunak.
