Anupama Truth for Anuj Big discovery of the past. Vanraj expresses his difficulty with the idea of being apart from his parents. He informs Leela that he doesn’t want to accept it when she mentions one day they will have to go. All he desires is that they stay happy and healthy with him. After expressing his love for Leela, who playfully responds with her declaration of fondness, Hasmukh joins in on the conversation. Noting how great a son and father Vanraj has been, Hasmukh believes he will also make a good husband – even if it ends up not panning out in Anupama’s case, Kavya could benefit from what he has to offer.
Anupama prays that Malti unites with her son. Samar arrives and hugs her Anupama, sobbing helplessly. Worried, she inquires into the cause of his grief, to which he reveals that Manoj, his closest pal, had met with a heartbreaking demise in an automobile accident. Offering her condolences and solace, she embraces him and politely suggests that even though Manoj has departed from this world, it is the father’s duty to look after his child–his wife being pregnant. Anupama approaches Malti and inquires what she would like to eat. Showing her a picture of the two together, she reminds her that Anupama is her disciple and was supposed to accompany her to the United States, though it never materialized.
On seeing the photograph, a hazy image crosses Malti’s mind and Anupama hopes that all will soon come to light. Later, Anuj discovers a file in a cupboard drawer and takes it out. Anuj gets close to seeing his childhood picture in the file. Anupama displays her ghungroo to Malti Devi who immediately remembers and calls her name. She inquires what else Malti could recall and then shows a photo of her son, asking where he is located. Gurumaa tearfully remarks that it’s her son and Anuj watches silently.
