Kumkum Bhagya 28th September 2023 Written Update Ranbir exposes Akshay. Akshay apologizes to Prachi and then confronts Rana, placing the blame on him for the current situation. With the help of Surya, Ranbir breaks into Rana’s hiding place where Rana threatens to take Khushi hostage. Despite Ranbir’s pleas for her safe return, Rana demands a ransom of Rs 50 lakhs which Ranbir was unable to provide as he did not have the money with him. Refusing to leave without his daughter, Ranbir engages in a physical altercation with Rana’s men. As this takes place, Akshay takes Prachi and drives away in a car. Meanwhile, Ranbir manages to retrieve Khushi but is shot in the arm by Rana before losing consciousness.

Upon waking up, Khushi expresses concern for Ranbir’s well-being. Akshay and Ritika find themselves stuck in a traffic jam together. Ritika makes a call to the police, informing them that she will arrive at Bakshi Chawl in five minutes. She eventually departs from the scene. Meanwhile, Akshay contacts Rana and instructs him to leave as the police are on their way. Shortly after, Prachi regains consciousness. Rana and the goons are abducting Khushi as she cries out for help. In his unconscious state, Ranbir recognizes her voice. He informs Prachi that Akshay is aware of the kidnapper’s identity because he is the culprit himself. Prachi is taken aback by this revelation.

Ilahi desperately pleads for Jahaan’s recovery, vowing to not leave until he is well. She offers prayers for him at the temple, her heart heavy with worry. Her frantic ringing of the bell echoes through the halls as she implores God for his miraculous intervention. Meanwhile, the family desperately tries to reach Jordan, hoping he can help save Jahaan’s life. In her desperation, Ilahi accidentally cuts her hand on a sharp edge and begins to lose strength, nearly fainting. But just in time, Jordan appears and supports her. Gasping for breath, Ilahi begs him to do whatever it takes to save Jahaan.

Without hesitation, Jordan reassures her that he will do whatever it takes, even sacrificing his own life if necessary. With determination in his eyes, he tells her that giving blood is a small price to pay for saving a life. Overwhelmed with gratitude, Ilahi thanks him profusely but Jordan interrupts with a serious condition of his own. Jordan promises Ilahi that he will follow through with her instructions. In return, he asks what he will receive in exchange. Ilahi agrees to hear out his request and urges him not to go back on his word. Swearing at Jahaan, she waits outside and keeps a vigilant eye on the situation.

Later, Dolly implores Jordan to save Jahaan’s life, to which he responds by revealing that Jahaan is his brother and he will do whatever it takes to save him. Meanwhile, Mahi believes that he may be able to deceive everyone except for his mother, as he has an underlying motive behind his actions. Jordan willingly donates blood to Jahaan, confident that once he wakes up, everything will become clear. The doctor updates the family members that Jahaan is now safe and sound, much to their delight. Curious about Ilahi’s identity as Jahaan had mentioned her name several times, the doctor asks who she is. Upon hearing this, Ilahi experiences joy while Seerat becomes enraged. Remembering her promise, Ilahi gets upset.

Kumkum Bhagya 28th September 2023 Written Update Ranbir exposes Akshay:

Upon regaining consciousness in Akshay’s car, Prachi immediately questions her whereabouts. She implores Akshay to drive her to the chawl where Khushi is located. Despite his attempts to calm her down, Prachi threatens to jump out of the moving vehicle. In response, Akshay brings the car to a halt and Prachi exits. Assuring her that Khushi is not in the chawl, Akshay convinces Prachi to come along with him. Meanwhile, Khushi pleads for Ranbir’s help as she is being taken away by Rana and his henchmen. In an unconscious state, Ranbir hears Khushi’s cries for help and regains consciousness just in time to defend her. Surya intervenes and prevents Rana from taking Khushi while Ranbir successfully saves her by attacking one of the goons with a glass bottle.

Ranbir assures Khushi of her safety, warning Rana against harming his daughter. However, Rana attempts to attack Khushi regardless. Realizing the danger, Ranbir calls upon Surya to protect her. He swiftly takes action and defeats both Rana and his accomplice. The police arrive at the scene, and Ranbir informs them that Rana and his men are kidnappers, requesting their arrest. After apologizing for initially doubting Ranbir, the inspector thanks him for his assistance. Expressing gratitude towards Surya, Ranbir promises to always be there for him whenever he needs it. With the police taking over, Surya departs from the area.

As Ranbir pleads with the inspector for assistance, Prachi sits in the car with Akshay and recalls his earlier statement about Ranbir being the one in charge. She asserts that because Ranbir was absent, he could not have kidnapped Khushi. However, Akshay maintains his belief that Ranbir is responsible for Khushi’s disappearance. Prachi insists that she knows for a fact that he is innocent and suggests they go to the police station. This causes Akshay to worry about her finding out the truth. He stops the car and fakes a headache, claiming he is unable to continue driving and suggests they go home instead. He asks Prachi to fetch his medication from their room as he cannot drive any further. Without hesitation, Prachi steps up to take over driving duties while Akshay rests in her seat. She then drives them both back home.

Akshay requests Prachi to fetch his medication. He then feigns a collapse, prompting Manpreet and Prachi to escort him to his room and call the doctor. Prachi informs Manpreet that she must leave as Khushi needs her. Manpreet allows her to depart. However, Akshay stops Prachi and clutches his chest, claiming he cannot withstand the agony. Concerned, Prachi inquires about his condition while Manpreet assures her that he will take care of Akshay. As Prachi exits, Akshay stands up from the bed and hurls Manpreet’s phone, questioning why he allowed her to leave despite Akshay’s alleged grave state. Manpreet says Prachi must find Khushi, as she is her daughter. Akshay chimes in, sharing that he was unable to catch his breath when Prachi was around, and yet he let her go.

Manpreet reassures him, saying she will always be there for him as his mother. However, Akshay remains firm in his desire for Prachi alone. Just then, Abhay arrives at the house and learns that Akshay is feeling unwell. He offers to visit him and check on his well-being. Meanwhile, Prachi prepares to leave to search for Khushi after praying in the household temple. As luck would have it, Khushi appears before her and calls out to her “Mamma”. Overjoyed, Prachi rushes to embrace her daughter while Vishaka joins in the hug as well. Khushi reveals that their father had come to rescue her from some hooligans. Ashok expresses his delight at Khushi’s return and mentions how her father saved her. Prachi then turns to Ranbir with gratitude and admiration in her eyes.

Manpreet adds that she believes it’s not love but rather obstinacy driving Akshay’s actions. In her eyes, Prachi is not an object that can be desired. Akshay clarifies that he chose to marry Prachi even knowing the fact that she loves someone else and has a daughter. Manpreet expresses her disapproval with his behavior and reminds him of her role as his mother. However, he retorts by saying he wants no mother who acts in such a manner, much to Manpreet’s shock. At this moment, Abhay interrupts and announces that Khushi has been found and is downstairs. This news surprises Akshay.

Manpreet rushes downstairs to embrace Khushi while Ranbir advises Divya to take Khushi inside and assures her that there is nothing to fear. He explains that he did not abduct Khushi; on the contrary, he found her and brought her back home safely. Mihika expresses her trust in Ranbir, while also noting that Prachi should have trusted him as well. However, Ranbir reveals that Prachi never had faith in him, despite his belief that she would trust him regarding Khushi’s situation. He admits to being wrong and explains that Akshay took advantage of this lack of trust and manipulated Prachi against him. In an attempt to resolve the matter, he calls for Akshay and is met with suspicion from Ashok, Manpreet, and others. Akshay soon arrives and questions Ranbir’s presence, prompting Abhay to call the police.

However, Ranbir shares that he has already spoken to Inspector and Ritika, who have apologized for their wrongful accusations. He further adds that they released him with respect but also reveals Akshay’s involvement in the kidnapping case as the actual culprit. Akshay wants to know who would believe the story of Khushi’s kidnapping, considering it has happened before. Ranbir then summons Rana to the scene, much to Akshay’s surprise. Not recognizing Rana, Akshay questions his identity. In response, Ranbir proposes a jog down memory lane, reminding him of the incident when a dancer was identified as the kidnapper and Akshay knew it couldn’t be Rana because they were familiar with each other. Prachi urges Rana to tell the truth.
