This information irritates Rishi, who expresses relief that he didn’t return home as he knows Neelam would have used emotional tactics to force him into marrying Malishka against his wishes. Ayush advises Rishi to follow his heart, while Lakshmi reveals that Neelam is resorting to extreme measures like starving herself due to Rishi’s absence. Meanwhile, at the Oberoi house, Neelam refuses a glass of juice and vows to ruin Lakshmi’s life as she believes Lakshmi has destroyed her relationship with her son. Ayush informs Rishi that Neelam has welcomed Malishka into the family as her daughter-in-law. Rishi doesn’t seem bothered and points out that he is happy with Lakshmi. After a while, Ayush mentions that their living space needs some furniture, prompting Shalu, Bani, and Ayush to plan a shopping trip. Rishi offers to contribute financially, but Ayush declines, saying he will help when Rishi marries Shalu. The two of them leave and Rishi comments to Lakshmi about how things would have been better if Neelam had supported them like Ayush is supporting Malishka. Meanwhile, Virender suggests Neelam have some juice and Malishka also encourages her to drink it. Neelam takes a sip on their insistence. Rishi informs Lakshmi about his plans to go to the office. A woman enters and presents Lakshmi with a mosquito net.

After expressing her gratitude, the woman leaves and Rishi offers to assist with setting up the net. Together, they quickly secure the net in place, but Rishi accidentally injures himself with a hammer. Lakshmi tends to his injury and as they gaze at each other, she asks if his hand is still hurting. Rishi reassures her that he is fine. Lakshmi then suggests that she take care of the remaining work, but Rishi insists on doing it himself. Eventually, Lakshmi persuades him to let her handle it and helps him get dressed before he heads out. However, he stumbles over the hammer on his way and hands it to Lakshmi before continuing on his way.
Lakshmi playfully threatens Rishi with the hammer, prompting him to leave while she starts hammering nails. However, she accidentally hurts herself and is surprised to see Rishi attending to her. When Lakshmi asks why he didn’t leave, he reveals that he was worried she would injure herself. Rishi offers to help but Lakshmi insists on doing it herself. Eventually, Lakshmi playfully takes the hammer again and drives Rishi out. She reflects on how Rishi left Neelam for her while Malishka complains about his lack of consideration towards Neelam for Karishma, Kiran, and Sonal. Karishma points out that Lakshmi may have manipulated Rishi, causing Malishka to question if he is being treated like a child.

Kiran shares with the group that Virender mentioned Rishi is staying in humble accommodations. This prompts Karishma to comment that she believes Rishi will not be away for too long. Kiran then expresses her confidence in Rishi’s ability to rise from poverty, given his status as an Oberoi, and encourages him to distance himself from his surname. Meanwhile, a deal is sealed between Rishi and a businessman who asks for Virender’s signature. After sorting things out at the Oberoi residence, Rishi decides to return home. As Kiran bids Neelam farewell, Rishi arrives and Malishka rushes to embrace him, catching Neelam’s attention. He inquires about her well-being, but she dismisses it since he has already come back.
Rishi approaches Malishka and informs her that he is here on behalf of Virender. He respectfully asks Virender to sign the papers by addressing him as Sir. Virender expresses his desire to maintain their relationship, to which Rishi assures him that he values everyone like family but is currently employed for this task. Upon receiving the signed papers, Rishi thanks Virender and announces his upcoming marriage with Lakshmi. Harleen and Virender offer their congratulations, while Malishka questions Rishi’s sanity. Rishi remains firm in his decision and walks away. Concerned by Malishka’s reaction, Karishma follows her in hopes of understanding her actions.
