Anupama Upcoming Sorrow dooms on Anupama. Anupama chastises their prank, warning them not to repeat it. Anuj anticipates Anupama’s reaction as she comes to terms with the truth. Vanraj remains silent, still shaken by the tragic event that occurred during their outing. Anupama expresses her disappointment in their actions and retrieves the bowl of kheer meant for Samar. Pointing to the empty bowl, she explains how Samar had already eaten it all while she was feeding him, causing their plan to backfire. She urges Anuj to call Samar inside and end the joke, but he stops her, revealing that Samar has been shot and will never return.
The shock leaves Anupama frozen in place while others tear up in disbelief. While Anupama accuses Vanraj of being a part of the prank and making inappropriate jokes about their son, Vanraj remains silent and unaffected. Despite Anupama’s questioning, Vanraj remains stoic until he finally blurts out that their son is no longer with them. His words hit Anupama hard as she saw Samar smiling and walking away from their home. In a state of shock, she rushes outside but trips on the stairs and faints. When she comes to, she finds Paritosh by her side trying to console her. The recent event has left Anupama traumatized, causing her to fall to the floor and cry uncontrollably while Paritosh quietly weeps beside her.
Adhik, Anuj, and Vanraj arrive at the hospital to collect Samar’s body. Upon hearing the inspector refer to him as a “body” instead of by his name, Vanraj becomes visibly agitated. As the doctor approaches Vanraj, he is asked to review some papers; however, given the current circumstances, it is not an ideal time for him to do so. Meanwhile, Kinjal approaches Anupama and urges her to keep her emotions in check as they must tend to Dimple who is rapidly deteriorating. Kinjal stresses that Dimple is pregnant and excessive stress could result in a miscarriage. Simultaneously, Vanraj shares the papers with Anuj and expresses his disbelief at having to agree to such terms.

However, Anuj reminds Vanraj that they have the opportunity to give someone else a new lease on life by donating Samar’s organs. Anuj says that their home is now shrouded in darkness, but their donated organs have the potential to bring light to another family in need. As Anupama regains consciousness, she remembers Samar’s commitment to take care of Dimple and their child, causing her to sit upright. Kinjal gazes at Anupama with emotion as she wipes her tears and declares that she must keep her promise to Samar. Anuj explains to Vanraj that donating Samar’s organs can help those in need, despite it being a difficult choice.
As Vanraj stands with the decision in his hands, he remembers Samar’s smile and their conversations together. He realizes that Samar is now just a lifeless body. After some contemplation, Vanraj signs the papers and gives them to the doctor, who informs them that they can retrieve Samar’s organs. Anuj praises Vanraj for his brave decision and believes that Samar would be proud of him. Just then, the inspector arrives with news of finding the person who shot Samar. Anuj and Vanraj are shocked to hear that it was Sonu, the boy whom Anuj fought with at the club.
