Kumkum Bhagya 9th October 2023 Written Update Prachi faces peril. Ashok finds Ranbir and Prachi together. He overhears Ranbir confessing his love for Prachi. He is left shocked. Spotting Ashok, Ranbir quickly explains that they are discussing Khushi’s matter. However, during this conversation, Ashok unintentionally learns that Akshay and Prachi’s marriage is a sham after overhearing Akshay and Abhay talking about it. Troubled by this revelation, Ashok confides in Visakha about it. He then decides to help free Prachi from her fake marriage with Akshay, but Visakha warns him that if Prachi leaves the house, it will bring ruin. Instead, she advises Ashok to allow Akshay and Prachi to discuss the matter on their terms.
Mihika also expresses her desire for Ranbir to stay with her permanently. Ranbir tells Mihika that he loves Prachi and they never made any commitment to be together forever. Devastated, Mihika confides in Visakha, who remarks that if it weren’t for Prachi, Ranbir would have been with her. Mihika tells Divya that she meddled with the brakes on Prachi’s car and that Khushi will also be riding in it. She informs Akshay that no one, especially Prachi, can come between her and Ranbir. However, this causes Akshay to become enraged and he ends up slapping Mihika. In the meantime, Ranbir is seen attempting to catch up to Prachi’s vehicle in a van.
Mihika says that she will win Ranbir’s love at any cost, believing it can only be fulfilled if Prachi is no longer in the picture. Akshay retaliates with fierce eyes filled with rage. Subsequently, Prachi becomes overwhelmed as she struggles to control the brakes and desperately reaches out to Ranbir for assistance. Akshay tells Khushi that he missed her all day while she was with Prachi. He then leaves. Prachi greets Khushi, but Khushi is upset because she doesn’t think Prachi misses her. Prachi assures Khushi that she misses her a lot. Khushi questions how this is possible when Prachi’s favorite person is in the same house. Ranbir approaches them for a high-five, but Khushi declines and walks away. Ranbir wonders what’s wrong with her. He announces to the Tandon family that he has to go to work and takes the breakfast prepared by Prachi before leaving. Mihika remembers Vishaka and Divya’s words.
Mihika deliberately sabotages Prachi’s car brakes, believing this will cause Prachi’s demise. However, Prachi catches Mihika in the act and tries to discuss her complicated relationship with Ranbir and Akshay. Mihika dismisses her, saying they can talk later. As Prachi gets in the car, Khushi also offers to join her. Mihika embraces Khushi and expresses her love for her, but warns Khushi that she may not be able to see her again due to Prachi’s presence. Despite this, Prachi and Khushi drive off together. Divya notices Mihika’s distress and asks if everything is okay. Mihika assures her that things will soon be taken care of as she has tampered with the car brakes. However, she worries that Khushi is also in the car with Prachi. With a disturbed expression, Divya questions Mihika’s sanity.
Prachi warns Khushi against sticking her hand out of the window, citing safety concerns. However, Khushi playfully teases and tickles Prachi instead. Despite Prachi’s attempts to halt the car, it continues moving. Meanwhile, Ranbir is feeling uneasy in the office and decides to pay a visit to Prachi. At the same time, Akshay reveals his plan to Abhay, mentioning that Ranbir plans to invest in Shobit’s failing company and will ultimately face bankruptcy. Akshay confidently declares that all of Ranbir’s investments will lead to failure, even bringing him down financially. In response, Abhay expresses concern about the potential consequences for their financial wellbeing if they go through with this scheme.
Akshay and Abhay witness Divya’s outburst towards Mihika. She questions Mihika’s sanity and Mihika defends her actions, claiming it was for the sake of love. Eventually, Mihika dismisses Divya from her room. Meanwhile, Shobit bumps into Ranbir and notices his restlessness. He inquires if Ranbir is okay and receives a response in the affirmative. After some persuasion from Shobit, Ranbir agrees to let him present at the meeting. However, even during Shobit’s presentation, Ranbir remains uneasy and eventually leaves the meeting room. Elsewhere, Prachi is driving when Khushi urges her to slow down as she feels scared without a seatbelt on. Despite Prachi’s attempts to stop the car, it continues moving until she successfully avoids an accident by swerving suddenly. In a state of panic, Prachi asks Khushi to call Ranbir for help but their attempts are unsuccessful as the call won’t connect.
Akshay and Abhay inquire with Divya and Mihika about the reason for their heated argument. After conversing with Mihika, Akshay discovers that she is responsible for Prachi’s faulty car brakes. Enraged, he confronts Mihika and a heated exchange of words ensues between the two. Despite multiple attempts to reach Prachi, Akshay’s phone call fails to connect and in his fury, he breaks his phone. Seeking assistance from Abhay, Akshay tries to reach Prachi again but to no avail. Meanwhile, Ranbir grows concerned about Prachi’s well-being and decides to call her. To his surprise, Khushi answers the call and informs him that Prachi is facing trouble due to her car brakes failing. Hearing this news, Ranbir encourages Prachi and Khushi to remain strong as he rushes over to help them.
