Bhagya Lakshmi 9th October 2023 Written Update News for Malishka. Rishi steps out of his car, still on a phone call, and spots Neelam in the restaurant. Curious, he wonders what she could be doing there. However, his attention is diverted as he gives directions to a couple. He briefly brushes off the thought of Neelam’s presence, reminding himself of the urgency to convince Lakshmi for marriage. Meanwhile, Lakshmi arrives at Rano’s house and warmly greets her sisters who playfully tease her for forgetting them. Lakshmi assures them that she could never forget them, especially after they took care of her when her parents were gone. Rano interrupts their reunion, reminding Lakshmi to eat before rushing off for some other task.
Bani and Shalu inquire if anyone from the family has come to meet or talk to Lakshmi while she mentions Harleen and Neelam’s visit. She expresses her concern about how Rishi’s desire to marry her is causing tension within the family, but Bani and Shalu defend him, arguing that there is nothing wrong with wanting to spend one’s life with someone you love. As Neelam arrives home, Malishka inquires about her conversation with Lakshmi. Neelam responds that she promised to give everything in return for Rishi. Harleen interrupts, questioning whether they are placing a price on Rishi or Lakshmi.
Karishma rolls her eyes, clarifying that all they want is for Rishi to return home. Harleen remarks on the futility of trying to buy love or a relationship, pointing out that Rishi wouldn’t have left if it were possible. Neelam defends herself, stating she only wants what’s best for her stubborn son. Harleen retorts that it’s actually the mother who is stubborn. Shalu and Bani interject, advising Lakshmi not to blame Rishi and changing the subject to eating first.

Karishma and Harleen are in an argument, with the latter expressing her desire to be left alone. She then exits, advising Neelam to either consider her son’s wishes or let him find happiness on his own. Neelam tearfully mentions feeling like everyone is against her because of Lakshmi, prompting Harleen to reassure her that they are on her side and have her best interests at heart. Meanwhile, Malishka also sobs over the fact that she cannot be with Rishi due to their fate, before reminding Neelam not to fight for her. Neelam acknowledges Malishka’s care and determination, vowing to bring Rishi back at any cost even though she is an outsider. In a comedic turn of events, Lakshmi accidentally hits Rishi’s eye with a vegetable while he is not looking, causing him to sneeze and ruin the moment by rambling about moving forward.
She pleads with him to stop irritating her and orders him to leave, while he insists that he will never abandon her because of his love for her. Rishi brings up Neelam and questions Lakshmi if she has met Neelam, confident that she must have based on her behavior. He suggests that the best way to avoid arguments is for them to get married. Meanwhile, at the Bajwa house, Shalu, Aayush, and Bani hatch a plan for Rishi and Lakshmi’s marriage, but things take a turn when Shalu and Bani start arguing. Aayush storms out, declaring his belief that Rishi and Lakshmi will eventually tie the knot.
Malishka informs Sonal of her plan to win back Rishi’s love, which receives praise from Sonal. Later that night, Rishi playfully teases Lakshmi about the food not being tasty, and they end up feeding each other. Despite enjoying the moment, Lakshmi gets upset when Rishi threatens to leave. Meanwhile, Harleen, Virender, and Aayush discuss Neelam’s manipulative ways and decide that Lakshmi and Rishi must get married no matter what. As Rishi tries to leave, Lakshmi stops him and feeds him while he asks her to smile at him first. In the meantime, Malishka and Sonal put up posters in the neighborhood where Lakshmi and Rishi are hiding from him.
