She apologizes to him and exits the room, mentally reminding herself that she is not stupid to comply with Shaurya’s request. However, an idea sparks within her – she could take advantage of this situation and soon become Shanaya Luthra. Nidhi scolds her for not heeding her warning, stating that a middle-class girl like Shanaya could never match Shaurya’s level. The Luthras reprimands Nidhi for mentioning class differences. Shanaya realizes she needs to play the innocent card with the Luthras and takes the blame upon herself, pleading with them not to scold Shaurya.
To everyone’s surprise, Rakhi expresses their fondness for Shanaya and blesses her. Unbeknownst to them, Shrishti and Girija are eavesdropping from behind a door. Karan catches a glimpse of Preeta before she quickly hides from him. Rakhi believes that both Palki and Shanaya have the potential to be ideal daughters-in-law, and she sees qualities of Preeta in them. Rajveer gazes at Palki, causing her to ponder the situation and question who likes whom. He then approaches the cab driver to speak with him. Meanwhile, Palki inquires about Shanaya’s relationship with Rajveer. Shanaya reassures her that she loves Shaurya and there is no romantic involvement between herself and Rajveer. Palki compliments Rajveer as a good person, which Shanaya concurs with. She believes that Rajveer deserves a wonderful girl like Palki. At this point, Rajveer interjects to remind them that the cab is waiting for them. Luthras extends their congratulations to Shaurya, prompting him to inquire about the reason for the congratulatory message.
Rishabh then reveals that they are aware of Shanaya and Shaurya’s love story. Dismissing it as insignificant, Shaurya informs them not to give it much thought. Kareena chimes in, stating that they witnessed everything. Shaurya clarifies that Shanaya was the one who proposed to him and that she was not on his level. Nidhi adds that she had expressed the same sentiment. Mahesh mentions how Karan used to think of Preeta as being from a different class, yet things changed between them. Rakhi assures Shaurya that Shanaya is the perfect match for him and that Palki would also make a wonderful daughter-in-law for their family. She admires how similar they both are to Preeta.
However, Nidhi interrupts their conversation and scolds them for mentioning Preeta in her presence. Bani steps in and reminds Nidhi that Preeta has earned their love and will always hold a special place in their hearts. She also acknowledges Nidhi’s place in the family but points out that she came after Preeta. Lastly, Rakhi notices the love in Shaurya’s eyes for Shanaya and understands his hesitation towards marriage. As Karan enters his room, his gaze falls upon Preeta. Suddenly, a loud crash disrupts the silence as Shrishti hurls a vase out the door. Startled by the noise, Karan quickly turns around to investigate.

In a swift movement, Shrishti pulls Preeta behind the door, while Girija takes Preeta’s place in front of Karan. Shocked by this unexpected turn of events, Karan watches as Shrishti and Preeta make their escape. With Girija now gone, Karan is left alone with his thoughts and can’t shake off the feeling that Preeta was just in his presence. Preeta inquires why Shrishti is preventing her from entering the Luthra house. Shrishti defends herself, asking Preeta not to accuse her. When Preeta questions who she’s being protected from, Shrishti reminds her of Karan’s love for her.
Moreover, Preeta clarifies that she does not reciprocate those feelings and can handle the situation on her own. Shrishti assumes that Preeta’s recent visits to the Luthra house are because of her growing feelings for Karan. This angers Preeta and she scolds Shrishti for suggesting such a thing. She firmly states that she will not go near Karan and immediately heads inside. Shrishti is pleased with this outcome, knowing that her plan was successful in keeping Preeta away from the Luthra house for a few days. Nidhi informs Aarohi that nobody shows concern for her and constantly belittles her. Shaurya interjects and questions Nidhi about why she didn’t defend him. He is then reprimanded by Nidhi for bringing Shanaya to his room. In an attempt to ease the tension, Aarohi requests them to remain calm.
Later, Nidhi assures Shaurya that she won’t allow Shanaya to enter his life. Rajveer reflects on his drunken proposal and believes Palki deserves someone better. Palki believes Rajveer does not truly love her. Later, Shanaya confides in Daljeet that the Luthras want Shaurya to marry her. Daljeet inquires about how this came about.
