Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si Wedding twist Vaibhav threatens Kunal. Mrunal and Vaibhav exchange happy glances as Vijay inquires about Vandana. She arrives just in time and hurries to Vaibhav, apologizing while he playfully understands and teases her. Despite what others may say, she declares that she will marry him. Mrunal then takes both of their hands and leads them to the mandap, preparing them for the ceremony. Anagha becomes suspicious, but Mrunal and Vaibhav continue to exchange glances. Kunal returns, glaring at Vaibhav while Vandana asks if he still loves her. He assures her that his love is everlasting, no matter how many moons or stars are in the sky.
Meanwhile, Bobby speaks to Kunal who shares his suspicions about Vaibhav’s loyalty to Vandana, drawing similarities between their situation and Kunal’s past with Sonia. After wiping away his tears, Kunal implores Bobby to assist them in their time of need before leaving the wedding. Pammi takes notice and turns to Vedika for an explanation as to why Vandana left with Kunal. Meanwhile, Vaibhav’s family overhears and falsely accuses Vandana of being a car thief based on her possession of car papers. The family continues to celebrate the marriage joyfully, while Kunal retreats to his room in search of solace. As the priest calls for volunteers for the traditional Marathi ritual of Kanyadan, the atmosphere takes a somber turn since both parents are required.
Vijay instructs Anagha and Hemant to fulfill this role, but Vandana insists on having her father do it instead. She explains that he has been both a mother and father figure in her life. Despite being taunted by Vaibhav’s mother, Vaibhav stands by Vandana and urges Vijay to come forward and perform the Kanyadan ceremony. Vandana sees Vaibhav as a supportive partner and believes she couldn’t ask for anyone better. As the holy rounds begin, Vaibhav remembers pausing during the pheras at the temple with Mrunal. He pulls her aside and confesses that his mother is aware of their deceitful plan. He asks Mrunal to allow him to marry Vandana so he can later expose her as a bad wife and secure his place in the will.

Despite Mrunal’s hesitation, Vaibhav reminds her that marrying now would only disgrace them, but if they wait and Vandana proves to be a poor spouse, Mrunal will shoulder all the blame. He also assures her that after they move to the US, they will enjoy all the money – including Vandana’s share which he will manage. In the present moment, Vandana approaches for the remaining three rounds and halts before the last one to question whether Vaibhav would ever betray her in marriage or love.
