Bhagya Lakshmi 16th October 2023 Written Update Danger strikes Lakshmi. Kiran becomes increasingly concerned for Malishka as she curses Rishi for betraying her daughter’s true love. She firmly believes that one day, Rishi will regret his actions. Meanwhile, Rishi and Lakshmi arrive at their society where they are welcomed with love and blessings from everyone. However, before entering the house, Rishi quickly rushes inside alone. At the same time, Malishka looks at the flight tickets she had booked for her honeymoon with Rishi but tears them into pieces as she comes to terms with reality. In another part of the story, Rishi prepares for the housewarming ritual and calls the family members inside.
They are stunned to see the love in Rishi’s eyes as he adorns a platter for Aarti and begins conducting it. He then allows Lakshmi to enter the house and she becomes emotional upon seeing him. Rishi gazes at Lakshmi, adorned in bridal attire, as she performs the aarti. Their eyes meet and Lakshmi’s cheeks flush with shyness; she is finally his wife. However, their moment is interrupted by Ayush, who clears his throat playfully and reminds Rishi to acknowledge others. Amidst laughter from everyone present, Rishi feels embarrassed and tries to avoid eye contact while Ayush and others tease him for being shy.
Amid this lighthearted banter, Harleen confides in Virendra about her wish for Neelam to witness her son’s happiness with Lakshmi. Virendra reassures her that given time, Neelam will come to accept and embrace Lakshmi as her daughter-in-law, as she cannot imagine life without Rishi. Ahead in the show, Rishi will personally perform the Grah Pravesh rituals for his newly wedded bride. He refers to her as his wife, Lakshmi, who has brought immense blessings and joy into his life. Bhagya Lakshmi 16th October 2023 Written Update Danger hits Lakshmi:
Lakshmi and Rishi are in a discussion about whether both the groom and bride should participate in the pooja. Rishi, smiling, suggests that they each have their perspective – from his view, his pooja is taking place and from Lakshmi’s, hers is. Shalu and Ayush admire Rishi’s clever solution while Harleen asks him to return to his spot next to Lakshmi for the Grihapravesh ceremony. As Lakshmi kicks the Kalash and enters the house with her footprints, the family members watch with joy. Meanwhile, Neelam has completed her task of tidying up – she orders the servant to take the basket of toys to the storeroom.
Neelam observes the photo of herself and Rishi before calling Mukesh and tossing the frame in the toy basket. As he departs, she confides in Karishma that she no longer keeps anything of Rishi’s as he shows no concern for her. Through tears, she declares that if he can manage without her, then she doesn’t need him either. Meanwhile, at Rishi’s home, the family happily discusses how smoothly the marriage went and how they will only have joy in their lives now. Ayush and others assure Rishi and Lakshmi of their unwavering support. Rano mentions that she is expected to attend the Pag Phera ritual at the Oberoi house, but due to her condition, she can visit her own house instead and have Rishi bring her back later.
Shalu discusses her culinary skills and extends an invitation to Ayush, who playfully teases her lack of taste. Harleen and Virender suggest they should depart, prompting Lakshmi to express her emotional concerns about living without them. Harleen embraces her and assures her that they will continue to visit and bless her with happiness while advising Rishi to take good care of her. Virender invites Rano to accompany them as they offer to give her a ride, but she insists on taking a rickshaw instead. Harleen argues that they are all equal, but Virender surprises them by disagreeing.
Virender concludes by stating that the house Lakshmi was born in is better than theirs, and Harleen agrees. Ayush and Bani-Shalu then discuss how Rishi and Lakshmi were destined to be together. Afterward, Virender and Harleen return home and discuss their thoughts on bringing Lakshmi and Rishi together. Harleen mentions how Lakshmi has expressed missing the family, prompting them to enter the house. They are met with Karishma’s sarcastic question about whether they got married yet. Virender responds with a smile, confirming that the marriage did take place, but also expressing that it would have been nice if they had arrived sooner.

Harleen instructs them to release their stubbornness, while Neelam points out that they only see her stubbornness and not Rishi’s. As Harleen prepares to reprimand her, Neelam clarifies that she is not addressing her and expresses relief that Lakshmi and Rishi were not brought home. Virender questions what would have occurred if he had indeed brought them home, to which Neelam angrily responds that he will witness it when they are brought home. She then storms off. Karishma follows suit, cautioning Lakshmi against making another mistake.
To allow Rishi and Lakshmi to have an undisturbed first night after their wedding, Ayush attempts to usher Shalu and Bani out of the house. However, Rishi playfully stops them from leaving, causing Ayush to reprimand the sisters for not respecting the newlyweds’ privacy. Ignoring Ayush’s scolding, Shalu and Bani ask Rishi for a traditional gift called Nek, and urge Ayush to do the same. Feeling outnumbered, Ayush joins Rishi’s side while Shalu and him engage in playful banter. Amidst the teasing, Ayush declares that he will not give Nek when he marries Shalu, confusing everyone. Quickly realizing his mistake, Ayush changes the subject.
Rishi checks his wallet but is disappointed to find no money in it, while Ayush steps up as the groom’s brother to give Nek. The trio finally leaves and takes a break at a tea stand where they discuss how Lakshmi and Rishi overcame obstacles to get married because they are meant for each other. Malishka enthusiastically shares her plans for her first night with Rishi while Rishi brings turmeric milk for Lakshmi.
