Anupama 16th October 2023 Written Update Strong stand. Malti Devi guides Anu in her dance, assuring her that she too will soon blossom into an artist. Anu affectionately calls her GuruMaa, but Malti Devi prefers to be called Dadi. She finds joy in hearing this from Anu. As Anu recalls Anuj’s emotional outburst upon discovering Malti Devi as his mother, she pleads with her to never hurt him again or abandon him. Malti Devi reassures Anu of her promise and explains that she will never leave Anuj on his own. Upon hearing Anu’s concerns about Anupama neglecting her family since Samar’s passing, Malti Devi assures her that they will spend time together engaging in fun activities. Just then, Pakhi and Adhik arrive home and Barkha inquires about their arrival.
However, Pakhi hesitates to discuss the matter in front of others. Meanwhile, as the doctor examines Vanraj, the rest of the Shah family huddles around him. The doctor concludes that Vanraj is suffering from shock after Samar’s death and advises seeking therapy or counseling to prevent any further negative impacts on his mental health. Leela is devastated by the news and pleads with a higher power to explain why she must endure this suffering. Anuj bids Hasmukh farewell and begins to walk away, only to turn back and catch Anupama’s gaze. The two leave together in the car, and Anuj asks if Anupama can ever forgive him in this lifetime, as it means everything to him.
He mentions that certain events have given him hope that Anupama still harbors some feelings for him. Anupama admits that she is trying but needs more time. In response, Anuj promises to give her all the time she needs but confesses he would not be able to bear it if she were to leave him. Meanwhile, Vanraj awakens to find Kavya by his side offering him juice. However, he insists on getting the calculations from Samar regarding the dance academy before anything else. Kavya informs Vanraj of Samar’s unfortunate death, causing him to recall the devastating scene once again. Overwhelmed with emotion, Kavya shares with the rest of the family how Vanraj was affected by the news.

This prompts everyone to rally around Vanraj and bring some joy into his life. As Anuj and Anupama arrive home, they encounter a woman who has brought her son to meet them. The boy has received Samar’s eyes through organ donation. Upon seeing the resemblance, Anupama sweetly offers the child sweets before bidding farewell to the woman. Reflecting on this experience, she voices her belief that everyone should consider donating their organs, as our physical bodies eventually return to dust. Anupama suggests that she should take care of Anu, but Malti Devi assures her that it has already been done. This causes both Anuj and Anupama to feel uncomfortable in the moment. Afterward, Anuj phones Anupama to inform her that Sonu has been arrested by the police following statements made by him and Vanraj. Upon hearing this news, both Anupama and Anuj feel optimistic about Samar’s case and Anuj comments that this is just the start of a battle.
