GHKKPM 18th October 2023 Written Update Ishaan’s promise. With determination in his voice, Ishaan reassures Savi that he will support her in achieving her goals. Curious, she asks if he has taken the UPSC exam himself. Ishaan then opens up about his experience of clearing the mains but choosing not to appear for the interview due to his passion for working at Bhosle Institute. Savi expresses her desire to excel like him, prompting Ishaan to offer himself as her mentor. Excitedly, Savi accepts and Ishaan suggests starting fresh. As they stand in front of the temple in Savi’s room, Ishaan takes a holy thread and ties it around her wrist, promising to guide her with sincerity.
He also urges Savi to promise him never to let him down, to which she wholeheartedly agrees. Just then, Shantanu arrives at the hostel and upon seeing Ishaan’s car, confirms his presence there. Savi and Ishaan have differing opinions on Isha’s mentorship. While Ishaan sees her guidance as that of a bad mother, Savi believes otherwise and encourages Ishaan to try to understand her perspective. However, Savi is suddenly reminded of Ishaan’s warning about interfering in his life and promptly apologizes. Just then, Shantanu knocks on the door and Ishaan and Savi explain that they are locked inside, with Savi requesting a screwdriver. Shantanu calls Shukla to retrieve the tool and then contacts Nishikant to inform him about the situation.
Hearing this, Nishikant informs Surekha about Ishaan’s predicament in Savi’s room, leading Surekha to become angry. She expresses her concern over Savi manipulating Ishaan and urges Nishikant to join her in teaching Savi a lesson. Nishikant advises Surekha to remain calm as they may attract unwanted attention from passers-by and suggests waiting for Ishaan. At the hostel, Shantanu and Shukla pass a screwdriver to Ishaan under the door.

Later, Savi and Ishaan remove the screws, during which Ishaan requests a heavy object from Savi. Savi hands him a scale and Isha’s container of besan laddoos, allowing Ishaan to successfully open the door. They express their gratitude to Shantanu and Shukla for their assistance, while Shantanu questions Ishaan about his visit to the girl’s hostel. Ishaan explains that he went to help Savi on his own accord, and later asks Shukla to fix the door before leaving with Shantanu. Upon seeing Ishaan return home with Shantanu, Surekha inquires about why Savi called him instead of someone else. This prompts Ishaan to clarify that he went to help Savi by himself and she did not call him for assistance.
