She suggests that Reyansh should consider marrying Kimaya, a suitable match for his family’s status. Reyansh pulls Aradhna close and questions if she can imagine him with someone else. She confirms this to be true. He then asks if Aradhna harbors any resentment towards him, to which she responds with a no, as she has moved on from their relationship. Despite this, Reyansh asserts that he cannot be forced into marrying Kimaya and will tell her parents the truth about his current feelings. Aradhna tries to intervene, but Reyansh becomes frustrated and walks away while Aradhna breaks down in tears.
Reyansh stormily strides towards Kadambari and berates her for always being late. Akash queries Viren about Kimaya’s whereabouts and when the second engagement will take place. But before he can answer, Kimaya makes her entrance. Jai approaches Aradhna and she implores him to convince Reyansh to go through with the engagement to Kimaya. After some hesitation, Jai suggests that they give Reyansh some time. Displeased with the suggestion, Aradhna insists that they don’t have any time left and leaves. Despite Reyansh’s refusal, he is asked to go ahead with the engagement to Kimaya in front of everyone.
In a shocking turn of events, Reyansh reveals his love for Aradhna instead and pulls her into a tight embrace, declaring her as his life and wife. He even kisses her forehead while an overwhelmed Aradhna faints in disbelief. However, it all turns out to be just a figment of Aradhna’s imagination. Kadambari inquires about the topic of conversation with Reyansh, who repeats his previous statement about not wanting to get engaged to the girl. He then asks Kadambari to join in on the act and introduces her to everyone. While talking about Kadambari, Reyansh notices her surprise upon seeing Viren and their shared history comes rushing back to her. Reyansh takes notice of this and decides to take a short break before returning.
Upon his return, he apologizes for the delay and explains that Kadambari was running late and Kimaya had fainted. He suggests they begin the engagement and asks Aradhna to come closer to the wedding altar. As he holds Kimaya’s hand, he announces that she is now his daughter-in-law, much to Aradhna’s shock. She wonders how Viren had a sudden change of heart. Reyansh presents the ring and recalls Kadambari’s previous tip-off about him carrying a ring in his pocket for Aradhna’s proposal. He then expresses his love for Kimaya and slips the ring onto her finger. Kadambari begs Vivek to intervene and prevent Reyansh from making a mistake.

Vivek questions whether she has already spoken to Reyansh about the matter. He mentions that things were going smoothly until Kadambari showed up. Detecting their unease, Malini inquires about the situation. Both of them shake their heads, indicating nothing is wrong. In the meantime, Kimaya slips the engagement ring onto Reyansh’s finger. After sharing an embrace with Vivek, Reyansh strolls away. Aradhna is puzzled as to why she feels heartbroken, even though she wants Reyansh to be engaged to Kimaya. Jai expresses his disbelief to Aradhna, mentioning how Reyansh has gotten engaged to Kimaya despite his love for Aradhna. Aradhna explains that while they do share a strong bond, they cannot be selfish and risk Kimaya’s life.
Therefore, she convinced Reyansh to get engaged to her. She notes that their love may have faded and although Reyansh tried to win her back, she constantly tested him. Aradhna confesses that her heart only belongs to Reyansh, but they must part ways now. Jai sympathizes with Aradhna’s situation as he is going through something similar himself. He assures her that he will always be there for her as a friend. Meanwhile, Kriti witnesses this interaction and becomes angry. She takes Jai away under the pretense of an excuse, voicing concerns about Reyansh risking their family’s business by going back to Aradhna. However, Jai cautions against jumping to conclusions without the full picture. Kadambari wonders why Reyansh would willingly hurt himself and Aradhna in this manner. Vivek questions if happiness is just not meant for Reyansh.
