As Rajveer’s father, Karan resolves to carry out the rituals himself, unbeknownst to Nidhi who harbors resentment towards him for fulfilling his paternal duties. Meanwhile, Shaurya, who had been rejoicing in the cancellation of the engagement, becomes incensed at Karan for assuming the role of Rajveer’s father. Amid this tension, Preeta knocks at the door in a bid to get someone’s attention and be released from her confinement. However, her efforts go unnoticed due to the loud music blaring outside.
Once the ceremony concludes, Karan intends to wait but Nidhi reminds him that they must make haste in preparing for Shaurya’s engagement and will soon have Rajveer and his family visiting them. Reluctantly agreeing with Nidhi’s reasoning, Karan instructs Rajveer to bring his mother along as well. Karan is upset to leave Rajveer’s engagement party, while Nidhi worries about Preeta’s presence there. However, she breathes a sigh of relief when Karan agrees to leave and prepare for Shaurya’s engagement at their own home. Karan reminds Rajveer to bring his mother to the party, causing Rajveer to hesitate. Meanwhile, Shaurya and Sandy are uncertain about the situation and fear being caught. The priest requests Rajveer to call his father for the ritual. However, Rajveer reveals that he does not have a father. Karan steps in and offers to fill in as Rajveer’s father for the occasion. Daljeet muses it would have been beneficial if Karan had given some property to Rajveer. Karan tells Rajveer that while he may be Kavya’s brother, he has taken on all the responsibilities of being a brother and thus considers himself to be like a father figure to him too. Shaurya assumes this is the reason why Karan wants to distance himself from Rajveer.
Gurpreet remembers how Karan had asked her to stay with Preeta and wonders why he caused pain to Preeta in the past. Karan then asks Rajveer if he has any objections before proceeding with the ritual, to which Rajveer shakes his head. Gurpreet suggests that Karan can perform the ritual since Preeta is not present and their engagement needs to take place today. Rajveer agrees, and Karan performs the ritual as a loving father figure towards him. Daljeet is overjoyed by this gesture, but Nidhi and Shaurya get angry. He generously offers some to Shailendra and Daljeet, while Shanaya congratulates Palki and embraces her with joy. Suddenly, a police inspector arrives at the scene along with his team. Eventually, the inspector permits Palki’s family to leave. As they depart from the scene, Rajveer reassures Palki not to worry while Sandy reminds Shaurya of the upcoming Roka. Shaurya rebukes him.
Karan expresses gratitude to the Police inspector, assuring cooperation with the investigation alongside Rajveer. Nidhi and Shaurya are taken aback by this exchange. Daljeet grows concerned for Rajveer’s family, but Palki assures her that no one from their family will be arrested. Despite Daljeet’s indifference, she urges Shanaya to get ready quickly and drags her inside. Shailendra advises Palki not to take Daljeet’s words too seriously. Priyanka points out that Shaurya will soon be engaged to Shanaya, despite his fondness for Palki. However, Palki reveals that they do not share those feelings for each other. In the meantime, Nidhi resolves to prevent the police from reaching Preeta’s room.
