YRKKH 12th December 2023 Written Update Abhira distressed. Armaan spots Abhira in the kitchen and realizes he needs to move her before anyone else sees her. He attempts to wake her up, but she appears to be lost in a dream of her mother calling out to her, smiling in her sleep. He reminds her who he is and tries to assist as she stumbles, spraining her leg. However, she rejects his help and walks away. Meanwhile, Rohit notices Ruhi getting ready and admires her appearance. He offers to help by unpacking for her and making space in the cupboard. As this is happening, Abhira starts placing clothes inside Armaan’s cupboard and he notices the disarray. Kiara enters the room and hands him a toothbrush and paste, causing him to question if she is upset with him. She admits that he made a mistake, but must still take care of him. Armaan apologizes for his error while Abhira bluntly states that it was not an accident.
Kaveri inquires of Vidya why she brought two dupattas. She clarifies that Ruhi’s Mu dikhai function is the only event taking place here. Vidya responds that she had also planned to hold this ceremony for Abhira. Kaveri angrily throws the dupatta down, reminding Vidya that Abhira is not her daughter-in-law. Armaan then invites Abhira to join him, but she refuses, stating that she will not be treated like a child in front of his family. He expresses concern for her, noting that she hasn’t eaten in two days, and encourages her to have breakfast with everyone. However, she lies and claims not to be hungry, asking him to leave her alone.
As Kajal arrives, Kaveri expresses her disapproval of Armaan’s choice of daughter-in-law for bringing in a “useless” girl to their home. She argues that Vidya can simply remove any disliked items from the household, but not Abhira. Despite this, Kaveri threatens to banish Abhira from their house entirely. When Rohit objects, she tells Ruhi that she is now part of their family and will be treated kindly. However, Kaveri admonishes Rohit for supporting Ruhi and reminds him not to interfere with her decisions. She clarifies that only Ruhi’s Mu dikhai function will be held in their home. Later on, Kajal requests Abhira to prepare her first Rasoi meal for everyone. Feeling defeated due to the arranged marriage, Abhira wonders why she should bother when no one will eat her food anyway. As she starts to feel hungry, Armaan shows his appreciation by offering to accompany Kajal downstairs.
Armaan escorts her away. Meanwhile, Kaveri exclaims that there is a wide variety of dishes on the dining table. She takes a bite and compliments Vidya’s cooking. To which, Vidya humbly acknowledges that Ruhi prepared everything. Rohit jokingly admits that his abs will disappear if he consumes this food regularly. At Kaveri’s request, Rohit fetches a present for Ruhi. Much to everyone’s surprise, Armaan arrives with Abhira in tow. Ruhi takes notice of this and Abhira grips his hand tightly in anger. As they start to take their seats to join the meal, Kaveri intervenes and points out that all the chairs look identical here; it would seem out of place if a new one were added. Abhira, agreeing with Kaveri’s reasoning, decides to not have breakfast with such a large gathering as she prefers having her meals alone with her mother. She promptly exits the scene. Kaveri directs her question toward him- whether he wants to be a part of this family or not. Manisha curiously asks who is making noodles early in the morning.
Much to everyone’s surprise, Abhira is seen cooking noodles. Aryan mentions that he also enjoys eating them. Kiara adds that Kaveri won’t let him leave then. Turning to Kaveri, Abhira asks if she would like some noodles as well before leaving the area. Vidya remarks on how the entire kitchen has become a mess because of her. However, Ruhi offers to take care of cleaning it up and tells Abhira to go get changed in the meantime. Kaveri’s son suggests sending Abhira to a hostel and giving her money. She wonders what would happen if she asks for more money, to which he replies by suggesting framing her in a legal case so she can’t escape it. Armaan overhears their conversation and pleads with Kaveri not to send Abhira away from the house.
