Anupama 17th December 2023 Written Update Unexpected. Dimpy attends to Kinjal’s injuries as Vanraj unleashes his anger on Anupama, blaming her for causing trouble for the family again. He even goes so far as to call her a problem. Paritosh joins in and accuses Anupama of being selfish, questioning why she brought Kinjal and Pari with her. Leela also chimes in, pointing the blame at Anupama. Vanraj asserts that Anupama has always been a negative influence on their lives. However, Kinjal defends Anupama, saying she saved their lives and planned the picnic. Despite this, Vanraj insists that from now on, Anupama Kapadia must sever all ties with his family and forbids her from maintaining any contact with the Shahs.
He declares that anyone who wants to remain connected with Anupama can leave the Shah household. Dimpy reveals she is currently with Anupama. Vanraj insists she joins Anupama, but not before handing over the child. She inquires about the legality of taking a mother away from her child and giving it to a harmful family. Still, Vanraj intimidates her into picking between her child and Anupama. Ultimately, she ends up leaving Anupama’s company as well. Reflecting on her past care for Vanraj, Paritosh, and others, Anupama expresses how her heart has been shattered multiple times and she constantly shoulders the blame for any household issues.
Anupama constantly gives examples from her daily life where she is unfairly blamed for everything, from broken glass to Paritosh and Pakhi’s behavior. She even mentions how she is still held accountable despite massaging Leela’s joint pains for two hours. Anuj and Anu watch on as Anupama expresses her frustration. She declares that she has done everything wholeheartedly, just like Anuj, but now it’s time for her to step back. With tears in her eyes, she states that although love and relationships will remain, she will no longer come to the Shah house. From now on, Anupama is breaking her bond with the Shahs. Kinjal silently apologizes to Anupama while Anuj carries Anu outside with him. As Anupama leaves, Hansmukh stops her, applying vermillion on her forehead as a blessing.

She seeks his blessings and leaves the house. Kinjal and Dimpy are saddened by the situation, while Vanraj smirks contently. Anupama steps outside and shuts the gate of Shah’s house. Anuj and Anu patiently wait for her in the car as they head back home. Upon their arrival, Malti Devi warmly embraces Anu while Romil inquires about Anupama’s well-being. Barkha reveals that Ankush shared photos of the cliff with them, leaving everyone feeling shocked. Malti Devi directs her frustration towards Anupama for taking Kinjal and Pari. However, both Romil and Ankush remind them to be grateful that nothing bad happened. As Anupama approaches Anu to speak with her, she coldly brushes her off and turns to Anuj instead. Anu firmly warns her not to touch her since she always comes last in her eyes.
