Yeh Hai Chahatein 17th December 2023 Written Update. Arjun offers to drop Kaashvi off at home and reminds her to rest. She nods in agreement as he kindly places his jacket on her. Suddenly, she slips and he quickly catches her. At that moment, their eyes meet. However, their reverie is interrupted by Aditya honking his car horn. They snap out of it and stand up straight. Concerned, Aditya asks Kaashvi if she’s okay. She expresses her worries about everything not going according to plan. He consoles her, saying that’s just how life is sometimes. Removing the jacket from Kaashvi’s shoulders, he hands it back to Arjun and assures her that she doesn’t need it – she’s used to taking care of herself with her belongings.
Arjun informs Aditya that Kaashvi is currently feeling cold. Aditya then offers to retrieve her shawl from his car and helps Kaashvi put it on. Curious about Simran’s well-being, he asks for an update. Kaashvi proceeds to share everything with him. Aditya expresses concern for Micky, who will likely be devastated by the news. He also mentions that he will be leaving for a crucial meeting in Delhi the following day and takes Kaashvi away from the chilly air. Meanwhile, Mahima complains of stomach pain and requests Arjun to drop Karun off at school. Arjun obliges and picks up Karun before heading out. As she plans to get rid of Simran, Mahima is reassured by Romila that she appears completely healthy. Mahima responds with a snide remark before leaving the area.
Mahima arrives at the hospital, concealing her face. She disguises herself as a Nurse and dons a mask. Making her way to Simran’s room, she deceives the police officers by claiming she needs to administer medication. Upon entering the room, she blames Simran for her condition and proceeds to remove her oxygen mask, attempting to inject her with poison. Kaashvi inquires with the police officers if everything is alright. Shortly after, a nurse arrives on the scene. The officer then informs them that another nurse has already entered Simran’s room. Reacting quickly, Kaashvi bursts into the room and urges Mahima to stop her actions. Fearing being caught, Mahima flees from the room. A chase ensues between Kaashvi and the police officers, but Mahima manages to escape.

Kaashvi is concerned about the unknown assailant targeting Simran. She inquires with the Nurse regarding Simran’s well-being, who assures her that she is doing well. Displeased with the Police Officers’ handling of the situation, Kaashvi reprimands them. Arjun arrives and becomes aware of the situation. He ponders over who could have attempted to harm Simran while Geetika and Harman are incarcerated. Suggesting they mislead the media by claiming that Simran is fine, he says this will give them time to catch the attacker. However, Kaashvi expresses her fear that the assailant may strike again. Meanwhile, Mahima decides to eliminate Simran by sending someone to the hospital. Fearing for their safety, Kaashvi and Arjun hide in a cupboard where her earrings accidentally get entangled on his sweater. As he attempts to remove them, he draws closer to her.
