Kumkum Bhagya 20th December 2023 Written Update Prachi rages. Prachi informs Ashutosh’s family that when Jasbeer tried to forcefully marry Purvi, no one in the house offered help except for Rajvansh. She sees nothing wrong with Purvi going to assist Rajvansh. Ashutosh’s grandmother compares Jasbeer to Ashutosh, calling Ashutosh a diamond. Upon arriving at Ashutosh’s house, Jasbeer states that if Ashutosh is a diamond, he is a diamond mine. He also mentions that he came looking for Purvi and would have taken her if she were present. Furthermore, Jasbeer warns Ashutosh to stay away from Purvi as she belongs to him. Jasbeer approaches Prachi to take her blessings, but she responds by slapping him and calling him out.
Despite being upset about Prachi’s rejection of his marriage proposal, Jasbeer reminds her that he cannot do anything as she is Purvi’s mother. This news shocks Ashutosh’s grandmother, who cannot believe that Prachi rejected a seemingly suitable guy like Jasbeer. Later, Jasbeer confronts Prachi again, claiming that Purvi is meant to be with him, and asks her to stop causing drama around the wedding. Threatening to replace Ashutosh at the mandap if necessary, Jasbeer eventually storms out. Meanwhile, Ashutosh closes the door confidently and assures Prachi that he is the perfect match for Purvi.
He begs her not to break off the marriage. As Vinod stands in for Ranbir sir in the kitchen, a doctor arrives and questions his presence there. Vinod explains that he is taking care of Ranbir sir since no one else is available. Ranbir and Purvi bring Rajvansh into the house, hoping that he will be safe there. Vinod then questions Purvi about Rajvansh’s identity, referring to the engagement ring on her finger. Choosing not to respond, Purvi remains silent. Meanwhile, Manpreet turns to Prachi for reassurance that they did the right thing by bringing Rajvansh into their home. Prachi assures her that Ashutosh’s family has learned from their mistakes and will not repeat them in the future.

However, Diya raises a valid concern about potential further mistakes. Unwilling to take any chances with Purvi’s well-being, Prachi immediately contacts her over the phone to check on Rajvansh’s condition. To her relief, she learns that Ranbir and Purvi have taken him to Ranbir’s house for help. Prachi requests Purvi to share the location so she can join them and assist with taking care of Rajvansh. Purvi agrees without hesitation. The doctor informs Purvi that Rajvansh is okay but requires treatment. Ranbir escorts Rajvansh out of the room.
Upon regaining consciousness, Rajvansh stops Purvi from leaving and asks how she arrived there. Purvi explains that she rushed over upon hearing about the accident while cooking for Ashutosh’s family. This surprises Rajvansh. Just then, the doorbell rings and Purvi assumes it’s Prachi. She goes to answer it, but Ranbir also hears the bell and goes to open it, causing Vinod to slip and fall. Despite Purvi’s attempts, she is unable to assist Vinod, but Rajvansh steps in to help while Purvi opens the door.
