Bhagya Lakshmi 23rd December 2023 Written Update Rano exposed. Rishi cries seeing Lakshmi’s picture. He says that they want to stay together and it’s a fact, but they are helpless. He asks why aren’t they able to change their fate. On the other hand, Shalu angrily tells that Rano has attempted to send Lakshmi to the mental asylum. She didn’t expect this from Rano, who was acting very sweet when she met Rishi and the Oberois. She regrets Rano’s deeds. Bani tells Neha that Rano has taken the money from Balwinder for harming Lakshmi, who is like her daughter.
Lakshmi is seen attacking the nurse in defense. She runs away from the hospital. Sonia asks Virender to have sweets because Lakshmi left and Rishi got saved from an unlucky mad woman. Sonia announces to Karishma and Neelam that they should rejoice as Lakshmi has finally been admitted to the mental asylum. Neelam objects, insisting that Lakshmi is seeking treatment there. Harleen sarcastically suggests throwing a party since Lakshmi is in a mental asylum. Sonia then approaches Virendra and offers him a piece of sweets, noting that Rishi has been saved from becoming a servant. In response, Virendra slaps Sonia. Meanwhile, Shalu and Bani are rummaging through Rano’s room in search of money. Rano pleads with them to stop. Virendra scolds Sonia and reminds her that keeping Lakshmi away from Rishi will only cause him more distress. He also emphasizes the importance of Lakshmi as their daughter-in-law in their household.
Shalu and Bani accuse Rano of conspiring with Balwinder to send her to the mental asylum. Neha arrives and inquires about the situation. Shalu explains that Rano colluded with Balwinder for financial gain, resulting in Lakshmi’s institutionalization. They are currently searching Rano’s room for evidence of their collaboration. Neelam expresses disapproval to Virendra for slapping Sonia, who had left quietly in tears. As the nurse enters Lakshmi’s room, she quickly locks the door and evades the ward boy attempting to stop her escape.

Neha inquires with Rano, who appears hurt by Shalu and Bani’s accusation. She reminds them of her past support when they were homeless. However, they comment on her actions and decide to leave her house, fearing she may harm them for money. Meanwhile, Neelam argues with Virendra over Lakshmi’s mental health and treatment. Neelam reiterates that a mental asylum is the only option for Lakshmi’s treatment while Virendra insists on keeping her at home. Harleen also interjects with a criticism towards Neelam. The nurse asks the ward boy about Lakshmi’s whereabouts, to which he responds that she may have escaped by now.
Ayush brings Rishi home and after a brief conversation, Rishi asks for some alone time. Ayush complies and informs the Oberoi family that Rishi is outside on the steps. Eventually, Rishi heads to his room where he looks at Lakshmi’s photo and ponders over why they can’t be together. Meanwhile, Shalu and Bani prepare to leave Rano’s house but are stopped by her. Neelam comforts Sonia, who expresses her desire for revenge against Lakshmi upon her return home. Neelam reassures Sonia that Lakshmi won’t be back as she has been admitted to a mental asylum.
