Kumkum Bhagya 27th December 2023 Written Update. Sheela claims it’s the letter A in Purvi’s mehandi, while Diya insists it’s the letter R for Rajvansh. Bina confirms Diya’s observation and requests the mehandi artist to remove the design from Purvi’s hand. She questions the artist on how he could have mistakenly written R instead of A. Ashutosh’s grandmother also instructs the artist to correct his mistake. Ranbir approaches Suresh and advises him to apologize if it was his mistake, also making a remark about him. In response, Suresh suggests bringing his wife and Purvi’s mother to vouch for their respectable character.

Ranbir provides his room number 101 and invites them to visit when they are ready to apologize. Later, Ranbir departs from the scene. Ashutosh’s friends tease him, saying that he won’t be able to look at other women after getting married. However, Ashutosh confidently proclaims that he will still admire other women even after marriage. As if on cue, a dancer approaches Ashutosh and starts flirting with him. She invites him to fully appreciate her beauty since it may be his last chance before beginning a new phase of life as a married man. Without missing a beat, Ashutosh compliments her and calls her hot.

Meanwhile, the mehandi artist receives a scolding from Ashutosh’s family for accidentally writing R instead of A. They quickly decide to remove the mehandi from Purvi’s hand, but Diya objects to this decision. Ashutosh’s grandmother explains that it is tradition for the groom’s name to be written on the bride’s hand as it symbolizes that she will think of her husband from that day on. Despite this explanation, Diya remains firm in her stance against wiping off the mehandi. Seeing that things are becoming heated, Ashok takes Diya aside and diffuses the situation by preventing any further arguments or disruptions at the party. Bina and Sheela remove Purvi’s Mehandi using water while the Ashutosh family notices that the R has not been wiped off.

Bina then requests the Mehandi artist to create another design for the R, but she is reluctant to do so as it may ruin the entire hand. The artist apologizes for this inconvenience. Meanwhile, Visakha asks Jasbeer to fetch some juice for her and he leaves to do so. At Ashutosh’s bachelor party, Jasbeer takes a dancer aside and offers her money in exchange for keeping Ashutosh occupied for as long as possible. The dancer agrees to this arrangement. As tensions rise among Ashutosh’s family over the mishap with the R, Vishaka expresses her frustration and asks if they will continue with the wedding or cancel it altogether. She urges them to decide quickly, but they remain silent.
