Anupama expresses gratitude for Vikram’s help, considering him a godsend. Anuj and Shruti enter the restaurant, leading to a brief meeting between Anuj and Anupama. Aadhya is shocked when she accidentally collides with Anupama. Shruti orders masala tea, which confuses Anuj while he sips on it. Meanwhile, Anupama prepares to talk to Aadhya before Aadhya rushes over to Anuj, pleading with him not to leave her. Confused, Anuj asks Aadhya what has happened, while she also asks Shruti not to leave her side.
Assuring Aadhya, Shruti stays close by. In another scenario, Vanraj confronts Dimple for being out late at night, causing Dimple to become frightened. Vanraj instructs Dimple to remain at home from now on. Aadhya locks herself away, causing Anuj to worry. Shruti advises him to wait for her to calm down. However, Aadhya remembers Anupama and begins to panic. As Anuj tries to piece things together, he realizes that Anupama must not be present. When Shruti asks what’s wrong, Anuj remains silent. Aadhya is searching for Anupama’s picture, reminiscing about her childhood memories. She recalls how Anupama always helped her and sees herself as the adopted child. However, she also remembers how Anupama had hurt her and Anuj, despite them both loving her dearly. As Anuj tries to enter the room, Shruti stops him. Aadhya admits to discarding most of Anupama’s pictures and memories, but she couldn’t bring herself to throw away one picture as a reminder of her hatred towards her. She reflects on how Anupama returned because she missed Anuj and was happy to see him. However, Aadhya firmly decides not to let Anupama back into her life again. As she cries herself to sleep, Anuj becomes restless with worry.

Anupama recalls Aadhya and feels a strong bond with her. Vikram inquires about the inspector’s response, and Anupama shares her encounter at the police station, where she speaks highly of the country. Vikram agrees that the country is praiseworthy. Curious about the high cost of water compared to food, Anupama questions Vikram. He suggests using public water instead. Anupama returns the money she borrowed from Vikram and he asks why she didn’t use public transportation for her trip. Anupama enumerates the advantages of walking.
Impressed by Anupama’s masala tea, Vikram mentions to Anuj that he enjoyed it. He also remarks that Anuj never seems to smile. In response, Anupama speculates that perhaps there is pain behind his anger. Craving Gujarati cuisine, Vikram expresses disappointment that their restaurant doesn’t offer it on their menu. Someone nearby makes a joke about Yashpal’s girlfriend and Gujarati cuisine, which offends Anupama who urges not to mock anyone’s heartache. Ansh and Leela are playing together, while Leela fondly remembers Samar. She then brings up Kavya’s daughter, but Vanraj refuses to discuss her. Dimple tries to get Ansh to drink milk, but he ignores her.

Vanraj eventually persuades Ansh to listen to Dimple, which makes her upset. Meanwhile, she receives a call from Titu, which causes Vanraj to doubt her. Moving on, Anupama treats her colleagues with some delicious food they all enjoy. They even pray for her success when she mentions her cooking channel. Shruti tells Anuj that he cooks whenever Aadhya is upset and shows him Anupama’s channel, revealing that the amazing masala tea they had was made by the same lady. As Anuj plays the video, he feels as though Anupama is right there with them.
