Yeh Hai Chahatein 7th January 2024 Written Update Happy moment. Arjun expresses his uncertainty about whether or not Mahima is truly Karun’s mother. In response, she questions how he could even think that way. After all, she is the one who takes care of Karun daily. She reminds him that as his father, he should also be involved in parenting. Despite Karun’s pleas to stop fighting, they continue and disregard his feelings. As a result, Karun becomes upset and walks away. Meanwhile, Dadi confides in Aditya about her confusion regarding the conflicting information from Kaashvi and Simran. She worries about Kaashvi’s state of mind and breaks down in tears.
Aditya shares her concern and suggests giving Kaashvi a new task to distract her. He assures Dadi that he will take care of it. Karun visits Kaashvi’s house and she notices he is crying. She asks him why and he confides that he feels uncared for, especially since leaving his home where his parents are still fighting. Kaashvi reassures him that parental arguments are common, but also reminds him that his parents must be worried about him. She also points out how lucky he is to have parents who care for him.
Brushing away her tears, Karun declares that she is like a mother to him because she always comes to his rescue. He even decides to call her “Mumma” from now on. Overcome with emotion, Kaashvi wishes he was her son and embraces him tightly. She offers to drop him off at his home and he agrees. However, their tender moment is interrupted by Aditya and Dadi’s unexpected arrival. Aditya insists on taking Karun home while Kaashvi rests, and Karun goes along with it. Aditya informs Kaashvi that she will be leading their upcoming drug case. He then instructs her and her team to prepare for their trip to New Delhi.
Meanwhile, Arjun is seen packing his belongings as he prepares to join Kaashvi on the mission. Mahima also becomes aware of this and tries to stop him, but her efforts are in vain. She heads over to the training center where she witnesses Aditya reprimanding Vishal for making a mistake that could potentially cost Kaashvi her job. Despite Vishal’s apology, Mahima pleads with Aditya not to send Kaashvi and Arjun together. However, Aditya dismisses her concerns and scolds her. Later on, Mahira promises Mahima that she will reveal the truth to Kaashvi about what is going on. Frustrated and unable to convince anyone else, Mahima drags Mahira out of the office and threatens her.
