Meanwhile, Karan is engrossed in a phone conversation with the doctor. He reassures the doctor that it was just a minor incident involving a single bullet and he is perfectly fine. Rakhi overhears this exchange and confronts Karan about it. However, Karan calmly lies to her, claiming that he was merely discussing his friend Rohit’s situation. Rakhi remains unconvinced and Kareena enters the room at that moment, urging Karan to come clean about the truth to Rakhi. But he diplomatically defers the conversation for later and leaves abruptly.
Kareena informs Rakhi of Karan’s near-death experience due to Preeta. Curious, Rakhi asks for more details. Elsewhere, Gautam expresses his happiness to Dadi and Nidhi about their connection with the Luthras. Rajveer considers Karan to be sly and manipulative, using his relationships for personal gain. Palki inquires about the situation, but Rajveer says he will explain later. Pandit Ji calls for everyone to begin the engagement rituals. Rakhi requests to speak with Karan privately and takes him aside. Concerned, she asks why he didn’t tell her about the gunshot incident. He reassures her that he is fine and she breaks down in tears, relieved that it wasn’t someone she loves who was hurt.
Karan comforts her and she explains that losing him once was enough, she can’t bear it again. Kareena and Nidhi arrive at the scene. Shaurya requests Sandy to fetch the key maker. He inquires why Shaurya wants to unlock Karan’s cupboard. Shaurya explains that he is curious about what Karan has hidden inside. Sandy nods understandingly. Karan assures Rakhi that he and Preeta are doing fine. However, Rakhi mentions that she does not want to hear Preeta’s name. Karan asks her the reason for her harsh words. She clarifies that she believes Preeta always brings danger into his life.
She questions why he would risk his life to save her. Karan defends Preeta, stating it was not her fault. However, Rakhi firmly declares that she does not want Preeta in their lives and does not allow anyone to mention her name in their house. Karan stands by Preeta’s innocence, causing Rakhi to warn him against even thinking about Preeta before walking away sternly. Nidhi overhears this conversation and feels relieved by Rakhi’s words. Palki inquires Rajveer about his issue, but he declines to open up to her.
As a result, Palki storms off in frustration and refuses to communicate with him any further. In the meantime, Shanaya approaches Rajveer to discuss matters involving the Luthra family. Elsewhere, Rakhi confides in Kareena that Preeta is responsible for their family’s downfall as she cannot comprehend her intentions.
